" Actually, most of us know that it's no contest: Shaper has a LOOOOT scarier damage than Red Elder. You have to rely a lot more on running and avoiding his damage. (e.g, in the Uber Elder fight, in spite of the name, your deaths will usually come from SHAPER, not Elder) Double this with how Elder relies on a lot more physical damage (which is balanced around the target having 0% reduction) vs. the Shaper's emphasis on elemental damage (which is balanced around the player having 75% resists) and it stretches it even more. Between the Shaper Beam and Bullet Hell, Elder wouldn't last very long. The REAL question (or rather, what'd be interesting to see) is if Shaper used his clone to try and defend himself while placing bindings... Could he do it? :P " In fairness, that was partly because Magnus' link setup for that included Fire Penetration from I wanna say level 55 onward? It made it NASTY. (also, Minara's Minion Instability was rather unfair to a number of builds) But yeah, Rogue Exiles kinda did stop being scary.
