You are absolutely correct, totems are not minions. Elua is canny though....I'll give you a tip, re-read Spiritual Aid, especially the 3rd line.

It works because Spiritual Aid gives "Increases and Reductions to Minion Damage also affect you"

Thanks for the detailed explanation. Very interesting. For 5 extra points it adds a significant chunk of DPS. More so than Lethality and Divine Judgement. On top of that you can add more DPS from your gear examples including very cheap crafted mods.

Where does the 5th totem come from?

is it still possible to get a +1 curse from yoke of suffering? I can't seem to locate any on poe trade. If it is not possible are we getting the extra curse from somewhere else?
