Never cared much about this messages, because they used to disapper after a few days. Now they don't go away and are spammed like in the first hours of the game. It is like these messages forced in cheep games showing that someone achieved something rare to stimulate envy on the weak minded. It is so cheap and anoying. There are actually players who want a clean chat only for messages they care about.
Please give us the button to make it optional like everything else in chat. Let's explore new playstyles - Play it your own way, not just like the others.

Props where props are due. I could not bear what those folks are doing, even for one day. It is like a job, except you get no payment AND you gotta pay the electricity bills. This little notice at bottom left corner is what fuels them forward. I completely understand the request for a button to hide it, but in my mind, I already developed a filter for it. For me, both works. |

Button to switch them off or button to switch them off after first week or showing them only every 500 floors (100 would be too often).

it needs to be disable-able and so do the other players in town (at least in ssf). all stuff that needlessly annoys and slows down the game or like in this league OFTEN causes crashes needs to GO ALREADY
since I have no hope for significant game design improvements in this game I am officially done with Path of Exile. done for good

I have to agree with this. It's bad enough having to deal with sheep praising the toucan and the bots, but I could really care less what others are doing in the game. I admire them for having the time to do what they do, but it means nothing to me. If you still want to give them their props have it show on the screen for a second and then it's gone. I don't want to turn off chat totally because sometimes there are new players who need help and I like helping them when I can.

Yep, the message is RIDUCULOS.
This will continue on... till when? They gonna reach 2000... 2001... 2002... 2003... The message wil go on for weeks and months even, I'm sure there will be player OP enough to reach incredible depth level. But I don't want to see and know other people's shit. I shut down Global/Trade chat channel when i don't have the mood to talk. There need to be a button to shut down non-critical system announcement as well that aren't maintenance related. |

If this league has shown anything distinctly different from every league previous, it is the whining and crying about these notifications.
Something so minor has resulted in so much salt I would honestly think these posts are just trolls if there wasn't so many and they weren't so serious. You gotta wonder about your priorities when this becomes a contentious issue. |
