3.4 Holy Shepherd-Dominating Blow+HoP-Shaper&Uber Atziri down (Videos)
" I see your message after killing my first Red Elder in this league (deathless). Yes, I also notice that I can't generate sentinel on this enemy. My set up of flask is : 2 life bleed/freeze + Writhing Jar + 2 basalt with anti freeze Like I have a loreweave, I dont need to have purity of ice. (and doesn't work) NB : I dont change melee splash for ruthless LOL but my guardian die on the fight :( Ten Thousand Ways To Die ... Last edited by titides on Oct 18, 2018, 5:44:17 PM

Is it better to start maraudeur/juggernaut instead of templar/guardian ?
For a better mapper/boss killer with this build, you have some advantages. More tanky, Stun immune, Temporal Chain immune, Elem weakness immune, more life/life regen, add physical mitigation. But we loose some dps for our minions ... Ten Thousand Ways To Die ...

" I was actually thinking about a Duelist /Champion version , because of the taunt, never miss for both us and minions, and there's the added bonus of Adrenaline ...at boss fights... Follow me on YouTube & Twitch for more info on new content.

" I think too for a duelist. But the nodes of minions seem to me quite far from the duelist. Personnaly, I prefer perma fortify (= more tanky for generate minions/boss fight) I think that the minions dps was pretty good, especially if we go phys to elem. May be go to scion, with champion/juggernaut/berserker and we have : - taunt + fortify + 8% MS & AS for you and allies (champion) - juggernaut is defensive (endu, chilled & stun immune) - berserker is more offensive (with leech life & mana) Look, Berserker have mana leech, so we can have 1 or 2 scourge. With a belly and my items that I have on my templar build. I can have life 9350@lvl 100 or 8500@lvl95 with a belly ... https://pastebin.com/2RHT3bBv Ten Thousand Ways To Die ... " You can't have 3 ascendancy while going scion, only 2 and from champion, it's not the taunt that matters, but the "enemies you taunt cannot evade attacks" That alone is a HUGE dps boost for minions.(and for yourself ofc) You will already have fortify from movement skill, it's enough trust me. You get +1000 armor and +1000 evasion from champion ascendancy while you have fortify (and with Iron Reflexes, that is really close, you can convert that to +2000 armor) not to mentions an aditional 10% attack speed and damage while you have fortify. I really don't see that big of a difference between the jugg defensive and the champion except those endurance charges (that you need to take from tree to make them count, so ...extra passives consumed) Overall , my oppinion is this: Champion -strong defense and VERY strong minion damage boost and summon rate because of adrenaline(attack speed) use Juggernaut -strong defence and that's it...(even though it has that attack speed based on accuracy, you need to stack accuracy on items and i really don't think it's worth it) Templar - strong defence and HoP oriented damage Follow me on YouTube & Twitch for more info on new content. " Yes, I know it for scion :) So if you want to be offensive = berserker, defensive = juggernaut. For the taunt, I know it too. I have an other build that it use it (reave champion). You dont need RT (for DB) and accuracy for minions. So, yes, it's a real dps boost for minions. " But If you have perma fortify, you can have whirling/fa/blood magic. Dont need mana for your ms skill is important too. It's the principal reason to use a soul taker. And it's you have taunt and more dmg, I prefer take less damage. For the juggernaut (not with scion) You dont take the nodes +1000 accuracy, it's just 1 point on tree with RT. Look I use "command of the pit" (2s), so I dont need accuracy for my minions. I take unstoppable, unflintching/unrelenting and unbreakable. " But can he do Uber Elder easily than a templar/guardian ? Don't forget ... When you die, you dps is 0 ... and for your minions too :) Ten Thousand Ways To Die ... Last edited by titides on Oct 19, 2018, 4:16:20 AM

" Actually, in case of Uber Elder fight, you can say: "even if you are alive your dps is zero" The problem is not YOUR survival but your minion`s. They die very fast due to the beam/balls/degen from squids and you cannot easily generate them. In fact, you can always generate them on Shaper OR Elder but the fight mechanics force you to run around the room and kill Madness Propagators. If you don't do that you will die because of stacking degen. If you have lots of squid`s shit on the floor it doesn't matter what class you play - you will die. Being not able to generate your DPS (minions) sucks big time. | |
" Yes, it's too important. Minions are poor on resistances (fire, cold, light) and no physical mitigation. It must give us more survivability, like running purity of ice like you did. May be determination + purity of ice + vitality can help us. But we cant have so many auras, look at we use herald of purity for 50% of reservation. (or being a auramancer, but it's a another build ^^) But you can give us "minion life leech" for stay alive more longer. Ten Thousand Ways To Die ...
