3.7 In-Depth Ice Golems Guide - Snowybois - On Hiatus for 3.8

Any opinions on what is better, blind or taunt on the 3 Abyss jewels we get? Sure, preferably both, but I dont want to spent 8ex per jewel :D

Abyssal jewels with perf T1s & all 4 good mods cost 5-25ex+

IMO BIS are those in my gloves...

In order of importance: T1 Life, T1 Phys to Minions, Taunt, Blind, Minions attack & cast, Minions increased DMG (Bound fossil), chance to gain Onslaught when you use a Flask (Shuddering fossil), resists/Dex.

I'll be updating this build for 3.6 and cleaning it up as we get patch notes. What questions do you guys have going into the next league that you think needs to be included in the guide?

Honestly, I think you have a solid guide. Every topic is covered, and there is even a few build variants.

A 3.6 guide is obviously going to depend on the patch notes first.

Perhaps a FAQ is about the only thing missing, or POB links to other 'snowboi' builds (with permission).

Ok, I usually am the one answering these questions, but maybe I am really missing something here.

I recently started doing T16 Elder UGS to level up and have to say, the damage, even single target, is kind of disappointing. Having seen what this build can do, I thought that maybe I am missing something important. But I just don't see it sadly, so maybe someone here can take a look at my build?

I know I am only level 81 and normally I would not ask this question at this point, but apart from a third Primordial Eminence, there is absolutely no damage added with more levels. Only things left to get is life. Well, and the last two ascendancies, but even with the added 20% shock I doubt it will improve by much.

Maybe I was just expecting too much from this, coming from an Ele hit scion that had a lot better clear speed and single target damage on a lower investment.

Just at quick glance: you're using EE & Hatred + Storm Brand to prock that, now look at the jewel in your belt. Nothing suspicious? So + 50% reses to any ele Dmg of your boyz.

Yea no, Minions don't proc EE... Else noone would even use it with this build because it would reduce damage by a shit-ton even without a jewel like that.

So the Delve league is implemented into the core game, so we'll still have a chance to get
?
Cause w/o it I'd go 1 Stone/ 1 Lightning / 4 Ice. But the MS of 'em boyz are just too slow...

U can collect under 1 spoiler like variants with MOM, full life of the build & under another pure phys and ele conversion (Hatred) versions of this build.

Also u can make like OP endgame gear section league specific if this applies.

But OMF Meatball Spaghetti Monster, this is by far the smoothest and most versatile in end-game build I've played in my 2 years of POE. Thank you once more.

Yeah primordial chain is core now so we'll still be able to get the movement speed. I would never in a million years play this build without chain.

Can you go into more detail on how you'd like me to organize the variants section? It was super confusing/messy this league compared to delve and I want to fix that. Next league i'm going to post what i'm going, and then everything else in seperate spoilers.

Update: Lab Enchants are now seperate from implicits. We Bone Helmets now boys!

Does anyone know if it's possible to link an item image without owning the item? I'm updating the guide but don't have access to some of the things I intended to link. Also wanted to link the new consecration flask.
i played Falme Golem Before the Amullete was created, i enjoyed the clearspeed and the easiness of the build.

i played HC and i RIP at lvl 93.

can anyone make Pros/Cons between Flame and ice golems?
Ice Golems boss far far more effectively than flame golems, their damage is primarily physical and we don't rely on cursing so our guardian/shaper/elder dps is much higher. Flame golems have better clearspeed while mapping but generally as you can see from my videos we still clear very fast.

This specific build has generally safer mapping with 7k HP/1200 regen but depending on league mechanics you may want to be some sort of golem/spectre necro variant if you're concerned about one shots like delve. Mika's build is generally the best for survivability that i've played.

I don't normally play HC but I leveled a HC character during Delve league just to make sure it can get to red maps safely and I had no problems. Just make sure you farm up a tabula before moving on once you reach ducts so your 6L golems destroy everything.

TL:DR Ice Golems do more Damage, FLame Golems can run reflect maps.
