Correct, it took me 29 attempts to hit life+maim support+gem levels. Resonators+pristine+serrated+faceted a bit over 1ex each attempt


But if we remove faceted it becomes much cheaper. What are we loosing without faceted? Only pristine and serrated can do the job, right?

Faceted can also hit +1 strength gems, I saw quite a few while i was testing but never paired with maim support.
Thanks for answering my previous question!! I'm following this guide now and is currently lv83. I have a small question regarding fire golem buff:

The wiki says fire golem aura gives 20% increased dmg, with golem stacking you got 180% increased dmg as aura effect, that sounds a lot isn't it? Why would you drop it for shock immunity?

The buff is not an aura it's a self buff for the player. Since the buff doesn't pass to your golems (As far as i'm aware) it would only be applying to your unlinked storm brand. Not an important enough source of damage to matter.
Got all memory frags, and downed red elder ezpz. The frost wall tip was awesome! Shaper tonight then elder orb. Really really enjoying this build and hoping to push further than ever.

Side note: Is command of the pit even necessary now due to war banner pushing the golems accuracy into the 80's? IIRC, command puts the accuracy at around the same number.

No, I note that in the main page that Grip of the Council is absolutely a valid alternative.

CoP's are frankly way overpriced for what they give us it's not worth bothering with imo.

Here is my little idea :

Chaos golem 4% physical reduction each * 9 ==> 17% dmg reduction
Helm enchant: 100% chaos golem buff effect ==>34% dmg reduction
To further stack dmg reduction, I take unique jewel: Transcendent Flesh
The socket location is above Devotion node, which gives 6% dmg reduction
These in total provides 40% Physical dmg reduction (Excluding armour effect)
I also take dodge and spell dodge for extra layers of defence
Love dutch cheese and quality wine

Yes, chaos buff hats are also very good.
Don't think the chaos golem enchant is multiplicative. Think it is additive since it is an "increased modifier". It won't double it will add a 100% of the base. But will check that to be sure.

Have anyone tried adding herald of purity into the mix?
"Adds (3-25) to (5-37) Physical Damage to Spells"
Ice golem has a spell tag, will they benefit from that?
And then:
"Minions deal (0-95)% more Physical Damage
Minions have (0-38)% more Life"
Is that for Sentinels from Purity or global minion dmg/life?
I guess it's only for the sentinels.
"Per 1% Quality:
1% increased Minion Movement Speed"
Guess this one is global. Or is it?
Also:
Been thinking of Herald of purity - blind support. But only if the phys to spells works on ice golems. Otherwise waste of 2 sockets and mana reserve.
So overall been having lots of fun with this build. Even with very bad gear I've been able to run all the way up to Red Elder without any issues. Also with nerf to betrayal today I expect I'll get better golem survive during fortresses.

I'd like some advice on how to improve my build if anyone has some suggestions.

Here's a list of what I plan to improve this week.

Health rings with more health on them
Get better boots
Figure out chest armor, either Skin or start working towards maim, +1 support
Get grip of council now that it's cheaper,
Belt with life regen affix
Also with all these changes adjust resistances as well

Other than that I have a few questions. Last season I didn't run enfeeble, I don't really have a suitability problem but i figure enfeeble would probably make me super safe to endgame damage. So if I drop convocation I can pick that up and run shield charge and fortify? Along with that put on War Banner?
