Yo Chunky, I play this build according to your guide and it's great! Would like to hear what you think about Impresence Amulet + Blasphemy with Flammability. Do you think it's worth it? I'm playing softcore default betrayal, so it's not ssf.

" A shaper ring would allow you get warlords mark on hit, this would free up mana for another offensive aura. An elder ring allows for flat fire damage. For an amulet the fire Impresence looks good. As for bosses such as plateau where you can't curse them (as they are a totem) then what I do is just put in a mana flask for those fights if I'm not just outright skipping the boss anyway. Being as these fights are few and far between and being as I mostly skip bosses on anything lower than t13 (I have plenty of maps below these) then I haven't put too much thought or effort into solving this problem. By all means if you come up with a better solution then I would be very happy to hear it! " I don't have a PoB like that as I never spend the time to make 'dream gear' set up's, I always try to keep in mind what ideal gear should look like though. A shaper ring with Warlords Mark on it combined with an elder ring with flat fire on it would allow mana reservation to go elsewhere, either a purity for the elder fight, or more damage from another aura. A shaper sceptre, fossil crafted to have the best damage stats from both stat pools would be the best in slot damage wise, I'll be trying to craft one throughout the league. " Yep, you are correct. " The fire version of that amulet is actually very good for this build, I don't know how you would keep mana up by using flammability as your curse. Struggling to see where I can go next for upgrades, except for some super expensive GG gems or craft gear. Working on 20% for all gems now, and I haven't been able to find any shields that give a bigger boost in PoB at the moment. Any ideas? |

" I appreciate the info. I normally dont have issues adjusting builds for GG gear, for some reason in this case I am having trouble understanding what would best fit this build in regards to stats. Ideally, id like to remove the selfcast desecrate and rely on the totem opening up the possibility of wearing Kaoms Boots. Especially since we can get enduring cry on an elder belt. Warlords on a ring is a must have personally. Id assume to put Anger in place of the mana reservation An elder helm with RF stats would greatly increase Vaal RF for bonus dmg. What kind of Sceptre stats would benefit us? I would assume a void sceptre base (For 40% ele dmg) but, what optimal stats are we looking for? Amulets are kind of weird in this too. I keep wanting to find a way to put a Xophs Blood in this but I find it to be a waste. |

" I think the shaped sambar sceptre is better, fossil crafted with with aberrant, aetheric and scorched. With ideal prefixes being: Adds (36–49) to (73–85) Fire Damage to Spells (75–79)% increased Spell Damage Gain (16–20)% of Elemental Damage as Extra Chaos Damage (ilvl 85 shaper stat) Suffixes being: (23–25)% increased Cast Speed (27–30)% increased Fire Damage Damage Penetrates (9–10)% Elemental Resistances (ilvl 83 shaper stat) Making this in PoB should give some interesting numbers. For the amulet, Fire Impresence Amulet with + curse would be pretty amazing, no idea what one of those would cost in a trade league though. I stream daily at twitch.tv/CellTank

" A road block where? What tier of maps are you struggling with? Raw hp value only means so much if you have no other mitigation. Do you keep fortify up all the time, fortify + shield charge + faster attacks. Could you use different flasks? Flasks in PoE are more than just flasks, think of them as a skill rotation in an MMO, flask are integral parts of builds and if you let your flasks and use of them be a weak link then end game PoE becomes almost impossible for nearly all builds. Basalt and stibnite (stibnite blind cloud is striaght up OP OP) bases are hugely beneficial, with suffixes such as warding and heat. Don't underestimate flasks, just watch someone you consider a skilled PoE player for a few minutes, watch their flasks, they are always working them. Always. Have you upgraded your pantheons? An upgraded lunaris pantheon helps so much I can't understate it. Do you keep endurance charges up throughout the whole map, no only through the warlords curse and chieftain ascendancy, but also enduring cry to gain charges back during down time or to refresh them during boss fights. If you are using immortal call I suggest trying without it. I've been killing shaper guardians last couple of play sessions and I don't use immortal call and never have for this build but a lot of people who's gear i've looked over suddenly put it in then don't have the same survivability as me and can't understand why. Uber lab points are super nice too, the 10% of phys taken as fire is very nice as when we take fire damage our resists kick in, so with 75% fire res we mitigate 75% of this 10% of physical taken as fire, so we effectively reduce physical attacks severity by 7.5%. There are a lot of little things in play here rather than just getting a bigger life pool. You gear looks pretty decent, a couple of tweeks to gear here and there along with some play style considerations and you should be rolling through the maps with few issues.
