Knowing that the boss has a chance to give some very unique rewards, then how rare will the map itself be?

i somewhat imagine it'll be on the level of death and taxes or something, just because theoretically there can be so many outcomes in the mechanic itself.

as for the RF being ruined thing, you could probably get a pair of something with lvl 25 purity of fire and not added fire dmg, but something else. because after all the vid he chose all fire and this is only one outcome

Does that mean you can get a version of the boots (or similar unique) depending on which element you augment the vaal construct with? Like when in the reveal the person playing chose fire, so they got boots with Purity of Fire, and fire damage?
That's actually pretty awesome. Especially for elemental builds.

Hey so now when it drops once every 3 leagues for me I can experiment with one outcome and in 5 years figure them all out.

Well I know what I'm pushing towards next league. The rewards reflecting the choice is a really exciting element. I do agree with an early comment I saw, I hope for maps that encourage two - three players to co-operate, since that's how my partner and I usually play anyways.

Who in the world think this escort mechanic is fun ? I can't imagine someone who enjoys moving in a very restricted and defined area with fits and starts all the time. Kinda same of idea for bosses which against you fight half the time, and the other half you watch them doing invulerable patterns which last FOREVER (hello Mr scorpion).
