" From experience you should be able to delve from the mud flats same as every other league. I know they intentionally stopped the first three areas from spawning extra stuff as it was abusable. Master rushing off tidal island i believe and the first area with the fire chick. To my knowledge they never changed this back I am your Devine one Bow before me

"The point is two fold: being able to delve early in the game and to be able to skip the story line and level just through delving. Reaching certain depths, killing bosses, finding stuff, finding places, etc. could all award passive points and skill gems. In the long run it would allow GGG to build a second story line into the game and then build connections so players could weave them together . In Incursion each 11 passes built a different temple. With two story lines players could build their own unique story through Wraeclast by combining what they liked best from each. Opportunity knocks GGG. "Gratitude is wine for the soul. Go on. "Good idea, but I am concerned that GGG will abandon one for the other like it happend in D3. Nobody cares about leveling through D3's storyline anymore. However, I guess due to high frequency of leagues... erm expensions in PoE nobody cares either. Let's explore new playstyles - Play it your own way, not just like the others.

I really love the new league theme and ideas that it is going to bring. However, my only dislike is indeed the flares and dynamite. Having two different things to throw, and buttons to press, just seems too clunky.
The throwing of two separate new items just sounds very unappealing. Having to throw 1 item would be better at least. Before the league starts can it be changed to remove one or both of these new items? Having something like torches or a lantern that needs to be activated once with a timer, where no type of aiming or placing is required, would be much more preferable. As for the dynamite. Something like keys, or just some switches to press to open doors or areas in the mine also sound more preferable. Since the theme is darkness, then maybe some kind of light stone or key to open the doors since this is a dark theme? The switches can maybe release a ray of light on to the dark area and open up/ break the area to make it accessible? |
