Ascendancy Trials
First off, I love the incursion league. I'm not particularly hardcore player, but this is the highest character I've got in a league so far. One of the things that is frustrating in the SSF league is the random nature of the Ascendancy Trials in maps. 87 and don't have it yet. Since I started counting I've run about 90 maps and still am missing one.
Hell, even not that many trials have been encountered. Would it be possible to have the trials not randomize or lock re-appearing until you've unlocked the uberlab? Wasting hours and hours to just get into an area is pretty frustrating and makes me want to just play something else. Last bumped on Jul 29, 2018, 10:53:01 AM

My suggestion along these lines is to force a trial in a map by including an offering or two along with the map.

"+1 I really like this idea. Then players can do the final lab when their character feels ready, instead of when RNG dictates. Now that prestige classes will finally leave lab in 4.0, will GGG get it right this time or will they find new ways to repeat old mistakes?

This is not a bad suggestion at all IMO. I am in the same situation currently: One trial missing, offerings piling up... since I don't see myself running five bazillion Uber Labs for that one-in-a-million useful helmet enchant anyway, I might as well use some offerings to accelerate my completion of the trials and finally get those last ascendancy points. Should anyone want to have a nice, fat stockpile of offerings, they can build that up any time after unlocking the lab by running every trial they find, so I don't really see any downside (other than sinking prices for offerings sold on the market, of course). |

Great idea but unfortunately GGG gets too much feedback and seems to ignore almost all of them. I guess it's the "not invented here" mentality again. Or maybe that reducing the highly overused rng for almost everything in PoE is considered a sin.
