Hey everyone. I've been running lots of stuff on this character but I just went up against T4 Drox and couldn't get him past 15%. My DPS just seemed to run out. Any advice? I've been playing since November.

One possible issue I see is that you are missing a lot of damage because you are not wearing a shaper ring. To max out Mark of the Elder ring, you want your other ring to be a shaper ring so that you can proc the following stat on Mark of the Elder:

(60-80)% increased Attack Damage if your other Ring is a Shaper Item

Dual wielding mechanics have changed in POE over the years. In the past the main weapon would be used when fighting and only the stats would be used for the off hand.

But after the change, dual wielding is really dual wielding. Your first hit is with your main hand weapon and uses its stats, your second hit is with your off hand, and uses it stats and so on.

Thanks for the reply! I'm assuming somewhere along the line there was an update that changed how Ice Crash works with dual wielding... Everything I was reading about it says that it was a main hand only skill, but those resources are all a year or more old.

I played around a bit with Ancestral Warchief and Ancestral Protector: Vaal Ancestral Warchief offers +1 Max Totems, i.e. if we have the gem slots (which we seem to have), we can afford to run both Protector + Vaal Warchief, activating the latter only for Bosses/Metamorphs. I did not check if this works the other way around as well (i.e. normal Warchief, Vaal Protector)

Hello, I too have some questions about my character/build, even though PoB tells i'm around ~1.6M-2 DPS , I don't feel it that way

I feel pretty canon-glass with 5.7k hp, I die a lot, I take ages to kill boss or metamorph , even with all the buff enabled. I don't know if I've configured PoB correctly but I really feel i'm the one being crash

I don't have the currency yet to buy a watcher eye or the mark of shaper. maybe the belt is the first first to change ?

Just wondering, does anyone of u guys have a crafted scepter/mace that outscales doryani´s?
Bought a fiew now and tried em out but nothin seems to outscale em or get close to the dmg.

OK, I'm back and playing a bit and I'm up to lvl 92. 20 watchstones, but died to Sirius just screwing around trying it out. Still feeling pretty good, except for penetration -- too many resist elemental / resists cold bosses that are hard to dent. I haven't gotten Pandemonius yet (not rich), but have some pen from tree (16) and anoint (5), and just got a wise oak with 15% pen. The question is about flasks:

How should I flask? Atziri's and Lion's Roar seem like must use, as is a life/staunching flask. I've got a sulphur/ignite and diamond/shock flask to protect me from those ailments. not sure if I should replace ignite with curse. though. I'm running Brass Dome so shock is something I need to deal with.

Should I drop Atziri's to run Wise Oak? Or find a way to play around ignite/shock and drop the sulphur or diamond?

Or just carry wise oak in inventory and break it out on tough-nut bosses in place of a damage flask? I guess it's also good on elemental weakness maps.

Curious what others are doing in terms of penetration/wise-oak.

I just tried Sirius for the 1st time.

Couldnt past the maze phase, i feel like i wasnt running fast enought and its just a cluster F$%? on screen...

Its def harder with a melee caracter i think.

1 other thing i would do is only bring life flask, since you dont rly reg flask

With our current setup you break the 1st phase rly quick, but after you kinda have to run arround since you have no flask left.

So you hit and run.

I think totem should be good against him.

Anyways these were my feeling.


Now ill go back to mapping to have all the stone!
