Do you think you are the only one who decided to propose taking these nodes?
To begin with, it is worth comparing how many targets you can pierce with 20/20 pierce support gem and taken nodes in a tree, check the POB to compare damage. With piercing nodes you need a talisman for piercing 2 additional targets (horned talisman)
But with talisman & tree nodes you'll lose additional penetration from amulet with "damage penetrates 10% resisances"+ additional jewel with eHP+DMG+%penetration(if hypnotic eye). Make your choice.

Hi! This guide looks great. I am planning to follow this guide as my league starter for the next league and am currently leveling up a practice character this league to try it out. I just have a question about trap support.

Why do you want to have a trap support mod with your gloves for the lightning spire trap? Does it have any other benefit other than the throw speed? Isn't it better to have mods like trap and min and faster casting instead then replace the trap and mine gem with something like controlled destruction instead? I would just like to clarify this. Thanks in advance :)

I'm not a expert with these things or anything, so don't flame me if I am wrong, but I think the entire purpose is for the +1 trap mod. I don't think it can roll separate from the trap support mod.
So the pob tree has 121/121 points spent for lvl 100 because of the Alira kill. Killing Alira as well as the others allows 123/123 so is 20% multi and 15 all res really worth 2 passive points? Is that what everyone else did as well?

I checked trade and while the trap support mod can appear without the +1 additional trap, the +1 additional trap always comes with the trap support mod. Thanks for clarifying this. :)

Sure; it's very unlikely that you are going to be getting something equivalent for two points towards 100. On the way there, 15% all res and 20% crit multi is great, and 5 base mana regen is incredibly strong while you're leveling until you switch over to tinkerskin shenanigans.

It's possible that in full min-max the 2 points are better, but broadly speaking its hard to get equivalent stats for 2 points at the vast majority of times you have points to spend.
Hi it's my first time playing a trapper because I'm looking for an off meta cheap build to do contents with. I got myself a 6 linked tinkerskin. Just need a few more levels to equip it. I'm currently level 60 using heartbreaker. What other uniques should I use or what weapon should I use? Please recommend. The jewels demi recommend are all one exalts so it's too expensive. Any other suggestions? I'm afraid the power will fall off when I enter maps.

P.s. Still loving the build. I will probably make this my league starter for the upcoming league.
Is this one of the 1 shot boss builds?

I have a strange pair of gloves want to know if it would work here.
Socketed gems support by 18 slower projectiles
Socketed gems support by 22 trap
Socketed gems support by 18 blind
Socketed gems support by 18 faster casting


Thoughts on these for build, getting bored of one button cyclone all season.
