Tempest. Rain of Arrows Deadeye.
how do you deal with the int requirements for gems? since i dont see any of the items with int stats on them.

Hey,
I know that this build is really expensive and isn't exactly suited for starting a league. However, I just got into poe not so long ago and I gained some currency, got myself some leveling gear and have been playing this build and it is the most fun I have had in this game. However, Im worried that when Im done leveling I will be underwhelmed with what I can do in terms of maps and farming in order to get the currency for the good items. Any chance of a budget section with which to start farming all of the items that you have shown in this guide? Or should I just play something else before I go for this build? |

You'll be fine. You only need his level of dps for the real end game. You can map pretty comfortably in t11s with one fifth of his dps (or even lower).
Another thing to consider is that he has a lot of life. If you take his 8k down to 5k, which is still ok-ish for most of the game, then you can focus more on damage. His jewels are insane, but if you remove the +40 life, then it's quite cheap. So if you're really missing damage, you can focus only on dps on jewels. That should carry you just fine imo. I'm starting with a similar build next league, I'm ok with the struggle at first, I just really want to play RoA right away :D Track your map runs: http://pathofmaps.com (retired) Retired item indexer: https://github.com/niuage/poexplorer Last edited by niuage on Aug 19, 2018, 2:05:08 PM

I'm considering going Scion slayer/elementalist for Delve, instead of deadeye.
PoB: https://pastebin.com/m9LZAgKH - level 100, to match the original pob - can be tweaked a bunch, changed the tree in a few minutes. Ok, so the benefits: - pretty much double the life leech rate of the deadeye, with ~3100/s. That's the main reason I'm considering scion, I feel like in Delves, and for hard encounters, the slayer leech that doesn't stop on full life is amazing. - Moaaar jewel sockets, in case getting 11 good ones is too easy for ya ^^ - Culling strike, some pen - 100% reflect immune - potentially better shock on bosses with the 10% dmg minimum. Now, for these drawbacks, we lose a little bit of life, a bunch of damage, and most of all, a lot of speed I would imagine. The thing that I like the least about ascendant is the need for accuracy on gear. Without that, it's quite low... Ascendant might make bossing and delves easier, maybe, but would be worse for mapping. " I have tried some ascendant variations of this build on path of building too. Slayer is the class i dont drop in any case, but im really in doubt of the other one. Raider and Pathfinder are the ones i like the most, and maybe assassin for the PC generator and base crit. I thought about the elementalist, but if i remember correctly the elementalist dps is the lowest of all variations, and i feel that reflect is not any threat nowadays. You tried other ascendacy classes? what you thoughts on them? (if OP have any opinions about ascendant variation of this build, i really would like to hear too :))
Yea, slayer is a given :)
Tbh, I didnt think that much about the second class, I kinda copied one of my previous build that was stacking abyss jewels and using MS/frost blades, and that had been really successful. As far as reflect immunity goes, it's not really about the lone rare mob with its reflect mod, it's more about the convenience to be able to run any map mods. Side note, the 40 int that you get as ascendant do help for wrath. With it you can maybe just run a rare helmet with 50+ int or something, and you're good. Could save a jewel slot (he uses fertile mind). DPS wise, did you factor in the 10% shock when you compared dps? I'm not sure if by default we would be shocking shaper or uber elder for 10% or more, I'd have to look into it. I think I'd go raider as my second choice personally, but power charge generation is definitely tempting. I'll probably just go deadeye first tbh. Starting with this build is not the easiest thing, and scion makes it even harder. Worst case scenario, I'll reroll scion later if I feel like the regen would help significantly for delves. I'll have the jewels and gear already, it'll be super fast. You have good points niuage.
Tbh i am even thinking about going pathfinder, just waiting to see the changes they said it will have (i always loved PF). Btw i will test all the Ascendant dps variation again to see if i missed something. But let's wait to see whats comming, maybe we wil have some reflect rooms in delves too, who knows... xD
Loving this build, so much fun. It's gonna be my new project in standard to dump monies into.
