The point blank pathing results in less overall stats but offers more DPS. If you feel that DPS is fine and want more tankiness, don't take this pathing.

If you feel that you are tanky enough and want more DPS, you can get it via the point blank pathing.

If you can't decide, put the two prospective paths into POB with the gear/gems you plan on using and see the actual difference making sure to take into account elemental resists, mana, ES, DPS and any other stat you care about.

OP and others on this thread very much favor non-PB pathing.

I compared one of the non-PB trees to a PB tree at the start of this league using my gear from last league. I found:


non-PB tree (OP's tree from last league)
6.5% more Energy Shield
43 more elemental resists in total

PB-tree (pathing down from Ghost Reaver along the far right of the tree)
17% more DPS

Obviously each sort of tree can be adjusted somewhat sacrificing stats for DPS or vice versa but the above numbers afford a reasonable basis for comparison.

Can you explain how to run PoE, Wrath, and Disc with a lvl 4 enlighten, without +1 gloves? It ends up being 104% reserved.

Managed to kill uber elder for the first time with this build, died twice but still learning the mechanics so thats ok

Take reduction nodes like/near Sovereignty and Influence. Get 1% mana reserved reduced corruption on jewels.

an astramentis is going to be better than the amulet you have also you have a few items with no/ low intelligence, try to get at least 40+ int on those

ok i end up with this one and pbe shows only 7% upgrade in dps (110k dps) dunno if it shows this mods correctly 1%inc dmg per 15 int or perfect astramentis was only &% worse than amulet for 15+ex :)

Purchased one, sadly its less than 100 tt dps inc & 100 es.
