I have some tweaks to the test build for W&S / EB & MoM.

Wand & Shield / EB & MoM

This version of W&S uses a modified EB & MoM tree from the PoH build.
It combines the tankiness of W&S life with increased DPS from PoH's EB/MoM tree.
I want to add this to the frost page, so I am looking for feedback on this build version.

PoB Numbers
1.2M per spectre for mapping (Bone Offering - 70/55 block, Feeding Frenzy)
2.7M per spectre for bossing (Flesh Offering,frenzy charges, Conc Effect)
6.2k life / 2.3k ES
378 life regen
844 life recover on block
118 ES recover on block
Perma phasing from watchers eye/haste combo
Up to 4000 life/4000 es recovery every 5s from helmet (Feast of Flesh)


How to convert from W&S life
You will need to buy:
About 60 regret orbs to change passive tree
Devouring Diadem
Unset Ring

How to convert from PoH / EB & MoM
About 7 regret orbs
trigger wand and shaper shield

Mainhand W&S
I use this for general mapping. Bone Offering here.


Optional Offhand W&S
I use this against Endgame bosses. Their attacks are telegraphed and easy to dodge. Flesh Offering and Victario's to generate frenzy charges.

Spell cascade is used to create 10 corpses for Feast of Flesh (see below).


Can swap FF for Conc Effect against Endgame bosses:



Devouring Diadem has reduced mana reserve, so we can run 2 auras + skitters. It also has feast of flesh which consumes corpses to recover life and ES. 400life/400 ES per corpse. This is why spell cascade is in the trigger wand.






Watcher's Eyes with Phasing/Haste gives permanent phasing


Build Notes
This is a snap shot of my own character. I have Awakened gems, but if you can't afford them, just use normal versions.
I recommend Awakened Spell Echo as the main upgrade.

The mainhand wand & shield is for maximum tankiness.
It has Bone offering on trigger and a shaper shield with regain life & regain es on block.

The offhand wand & shield is a high DPS option that can be used against most bosses (their attacks are easy to manually dodge!)
It has Flesh offering on trigger and uses Victario's Charity.

Turn on 'minions use frenzy changes' to see the max DPS with offhand.

Elemental Army: exposure not coded into PoB.
Enemy lightning resistance set to -10% in configuration.

Skitterbot shock (18% for 20/20 gem) is not automatically calculated.
Shock manually set to 18% in configuration (this only works for Localidentity1 PoB)

Unending Hunger has been modified to add these two:

1. Awakened Spell Echo has 19% chance to deal double damage. This is not calculated by PoB.
Added:
Minions have 9% chance to deal double damage

2. AG's equipment is not automatically added to the calculation.
Added (AG with Dying Bearth staff):
18% increased Effect of your Curses
Nearby allies gain 18% increased Damage
18% increased Effect of Non-Curse Auras from your Skills


Devouring Diadem: Feast of Flesh
Consumes up to 10 corpses
Gain 400 Life per corpse Consumed
Gain 200 Mana per corpse Consumed
Gain 400 Energy Shield per corpse Consumed
This Skill is Triggered by the Item granting it
You cannot Cast this Spell directly

Hm. I'm not sure if this shield is actually good.
I think most people using W&S build are already at max attack block, so it only gives 15% chance to avoid elemental damage.
Phasing only allows you to run through monsters, but they can still hit you.
Compared to a rare crafted shield, it loses recover life/es on block.

It's good as long as it's not expensive. Uncorrupted would still be better because you can modify it.

PoH build is a very 'aggressive' build. You need to rely on the DPS and the gear and just run through the map. It's also important to run around the sides of packs. This is why phasing is extreme important (see my other reply below).

If you are dying too much, it might be worth trying the new W&S / EB & MoM build. It combines the PoH build's tree with W&S to keep the tankiness with extra DPS!

It helps a lot in all game play! Monsters take time to hit you and will attack where you were. So running through all monsters, even bosses, is a big boost to survivability because you are naturally dodging their attacks.

If you really wanted to push it you can get even more DPS if you use a wand with +1 to minion gems, Haste-Aul amulet and another aura/aspect of the spider (and free up some skill points as well).

Saying that this would be too expensive doesnt really count anymore if you consider the PoB is using 3 Awakened gems.

OK, i'll test it for you... :-) My regular PoH build is fine, but now i'm at 39/40, trying to camp T19 maps for some drop, maybe 100 run, and metamorphs here are just seriously fucked up, when you mostly depend on Bone Barrier.

Hello, im new to game and summoner build, i want to start playing this build as HC character. I have a question what minions should i use as spectres? i heard thats good to use Lunaris Temple minions for aoe.

Hm. Good idea!
Using Haste/Aul and adding Zealotry to the auras, and using normal gems gives:
1.4M / 3M

Actually this is far more cost effective since Haste/Aul is 5ex in 3.9. The main problem would be getting two +1 wands with decent minion damage if you wanted the high dps on weapon swap option.

If you only use the normal gems, the numbers are:
1M / 2.25M

I think 5M for mapping and 11M for endgame bossing is still pretty good.

Haste/Aul + Zealotry + Awakened:
1.95M / 3.6M

This would actually give it more DPS than PoH!

I'm guessing free Haste Aura is better than +1 to all int gems? Will look at PoB as well. I never thought about running an off hand setup that includes Flesh Offering.

@Kayella Running an offhand setup with Flesh Offering/Victario's is genius.

Aul's Haste + Zealotry

Bone offering:
- 71/63 Block
- 1.47 mil DPS (Feeding Frenzy)
- 2.02 mil DPS (conc effect)

Flesh offering(offhand + victarios).
- 42/27 Block
- 2.33 mil DPS (no idea how to count frenzy charges tbh)
- 3.5 mil DPS with frenzy charges. (if i count right...)

Bone offering setup feels great, i nearly die few times and HP go from 1% to 100% in no time during flasks and blocks etc... super cool.

Flesh offering didnt tested well enough, but Lair of Hydra feelt pretty safe even if you are looser like me and get into that bubbles often.

Only 1 thing is, zombies almost die few times and Animate got damage too. so i swap Feeding Frenzy to Minion Life. Will see. But so far feels AWESOME! )

PoH was good, but i cant reach 97 few days. Die pretty often. Hope this one will help :)

And finished my 1st awakener deathless! with this new build )
