After ignoring Sirus for the most of the time (he didn't spawn more than 3 times anyway) i would like to go after him. I list what i read:

-using meatshield and convocation
-maybe using cast when channeling cyclone with convo/spirit offering/desecrate
-taking 6 link skelleton instead of spectre
-using Risen Vaal Advocate as spectre
-doing the strat where you don't move away much

any more tips fellow summoners?

If you manage to isolate +1 Spectre as the only prefix thats technically possible by blocking prefixes and scouring off the suffixes, unlike annuling it down to one affix scouring turns it back magic.


In case someone else is using an AG:
Carefully with the either the Vaal Temple Maps Boss or their Metamorph, but most likely the latter, they decimated my fully decked out AG (Gruthkul, Kingmaker, Southbound and 2 crafted items).
The AG had 9% lifereg just from gear plus whatever the skilltree gives him, so it was probably a oneshot.

How? Imprint only works on magic items, and you dont actually dupe it that way. But you cant drop +1 chest as magic, or make it magic back from rare. And only recipe for dupe items is AFAIK split, and then you only get 1 item with spectres anyway. I dont really use these, so is there something i'm not aware of? :-)

Oh, i finally get it now, thanks. Well, almost - checking current beast prices, when you already have a base, its still like 3ex per attempt, which just has 50% chance of success? So how the heck are these selling for 5ex? :-)

Oh, i finally get it now, thanks. Well, almost - checking current beast prices, when you already have a base, its still like 3ex per attempt, which just has 50% chance of success? So how the heck are these selling for 5ex? :-)

So the base itself is roughly 7-8ex to get started. 3.5ex for a dupe attempt, if youre successful you get back 14-16ex. He is doing it the very lazy way of just regal and craft life for a quick 5ex sale which nets him 1.5ex profit on each chest sold...but he would be better off selling the base itself. Assuming inexperienced crafter that is settling for a small profit with small risk, or he doesnt want to invest in a higher priced sale because that takes longer. Idk cant tell.

How i would approach it (but costs much more money), would be on every successful dupe, multimod it with 80+ life and either max %life/%mana or gain %life as extra energy shield. Would spike the investment up to almost 6ex, but you would sell each chest for 15-20ex.

So this is my gear right now, I have done all shaper/elder guardians, shaper and elder itself, will try uber elder tomorrow (but I think my damage is more than enough for a fast fight).

I'm wondering what should I upgrade now? Wands with +1, minion damage and minion life are so expensive for a minor boost, the shitty ones are around 2ex, not sure if this is the best option for now.

My survival is good, not great, I'm sitting around 7k life plus all defensive layers, for me it's fine, I think. Upgrading some abyss jewels and maybe getting better rings.

I'm a bit unclear on cwdt + ic, the build doesnt have any endurance charges unless i missed something, wouldn't steelskin be better?

I was also debating bone barrier instead of plaguebringer and ditch cwdt and use zombies with meatshield, also opens up gear to pump more chaos resist.

When i hit a lag spike and mess up positioning i drop like a fly.

Actualy you can get endurances from the shield. Look the shield that he uses.

Thats what i did, i replaced IC with Steelskin first, and few levels later i realized i overleveled it, and it never actually worked, but i was still fine all the time with just spamming Bone Barrier... :-) So i ditched CWDT for now, using BB + Phase Run with increased duration (so i can have it pretty much all the time).

I might rethink it later, as i'm getting deeper to Delve, and i remember last time the endgame grind challenge was at level 600 i was forced to swap to acrobatics at the end, and thats not an option now.
