I understand, yeah if i didnt miss that information i would have been totally good. your guide is amazing, but i get the build now. its been a while since i played spectres. last minion build i played was ice golems, which were amazing and fun, but a lot different than this.

I will say to anyone interested in playing the pledge of hands version. I have unlimited currency, at the end of this league, i played ED MF build for most of it. i bought a perfect rolled Vis Mortis for about 1 ex, since it doesnt need to be 6 linked. I know you dont need perfect rolled, im just doing it because whatever, end of league. but anyways, i bought a near perfect 6 linked pledge of hands, 159% out of 160%, for 5ex, and it didnt have the 6 blue colors, which i thought well, i should get it pretty easily, but man was i wrong. out of about 2k chromes, i finally got it, i did hit 6 all red sockets about 10 times through the process. might be bad rng on my side. so took me about 2ex of chromes to get it all blue linked sockets. so that is something to keep in mind when buying one. the PoH 6 linked near perfect was only 5ex, but add in the 2ex to color it and well 7ex. in my opinion, might be better to buy cheapest all blue 6 link, then use divines on it and get the best one you can.

thats all i have for now. for league starter, def just go wand and shield. just delve til you get a couple of fossils to craft with and you are good to go

hey! just got a quick question.

what are your thoughts on replacing vhaste with zealotry+generosity if I'm using this amulet? i know ill lose a bit of movement speed but i feel like the spectres would get some gnarly dps and possibly additional sustain with the free holy grounds.

p.s i dont care about the aul amulet. im not in the almighty 1%.

The reason for using Haste is actually to combine it with a phasing watcher's eye.

The permanent phasing prevents monster body blocking and is actually an important survivability feature of the build. Even with a quartz flask, there seems to be a fraction of a second where you're not phased, and in that instant, getting body blocked gives monsters a chance to hit you. You might not die, but you might get stunned/swarmed.

A basic phasing eye is cheap. 20-30c.

Yeah, that seems like really bad luck because the staff is equally weighted for STR & INT.

The other option would be to vorici craft 6 blue sockets, which is kind of wasteful for jewellers, but at least it's controlled. Then, self-link it.

This might be the way to go since availability of Pledge might be much lower next league.

SDs in PoH have a large aoe with pierce all. So, pick a map with open areas that can be hit by 4 white sextants, then pump up the monster density. I don't think there is any map they can't do well, so it's up to personal choice.

Thank you for your guide, this is my 2nd build in PoE (move from D3 recently) and found out that the build is very good.

Now i'm running with 2 different (just a little) version:

Discipline aura for more defense (6k life + 3k7 ES):



And haste aura for offense and avoid temporal chain (feeling annoy with this debuff so i dont choose phasing) (6k life + 2k7 ES)



I have some tweak for personal preference:

- Convocation + CWDT instead of Desecrate for Fortify and some meat shield when taken damage (usually i keep away from my minion for safety)
- Manual casting Desecrate for corpse to Flesh offering and Feast (healing)
- Using Aul (Discipline ver) instead of Soltice Amu (Haste ver) for more ES and some Critical Chance
- Using Control Destruction for more DPS (make Precision and Aul or Haste more value)
- Steelskin instead I.C because of helmet enchantment
- Commander of grave enhancement on glove for more meat shield (3-9), maybe this is tthe easiest to trigger.

My next target maybe the Aul (wrath aura ~ >20ex) for enough mana to enable Aspect of spider on my boots (15% more dps)

Any advice for me to improve my build ?
