So second league where i have got to 95. Last time was when minions were OP

Thought I might try playing in groups....problem is I cannot keep up.

I have mostly played minions over the years but never grouped.

Any tips on how I can improve my speed?

I am playing minion bomber

In the OP league I used stampede boots which gave movement speed is 150% of base value....but that wouldnt work this time as my boots give me a lot of my resistance.

I'm quite confused as to why I need a 6L chest for the minion bomber build.

PoB says it's only the combustion in the links that actually adds to the SRS damage. So why not just have spectre + combustion + culling strike?

Also, what's the point of having a level 26 spectre gem when all of the dps essentially comes from SRS and vaal skeletons? (Combustion is just a debuff.) I can just use 3 passives and a level 20 gem to get the same 3 spectres and nearly all the benefit at a far lower cost.

Third, Bloodbond Bone Armor looks good, with a free Blood Offering for additional defense, and up to 25% increased maximum life. I'm curious as to why that's not mentioned.

Oh, that's interesting. I looked at my minion bomber from the previous league, and the setup is significantly different. That particular build was quite squishy though, which is why I abandoned the character. Hopefully, the current build is much more tanky.

Well Minion Bomber is great this league. Be interested to see replies to your post....always something to learn in here.

Did Tier 15 Beachhead 92-95 (13%xp at 92 per map, 6-7% @93 and 3% @94)
5 way emblems got me from 95 to 97.

Only prob as noted above is being to slow to group :(

There is/was big debate about GMP vs Volley. So, I left it in the POB. Try both and see which is best for you :)

There is also a version with more survivability.

Trigger weapon + shield. bone offering + tempest shield for block and life recovery on shield. (self cast VSS for bossing)

Move profane proxy to right side and use temp chains. Keep chill effect, replace shock effect. temp chains stacks with chill.



For body armour, spectre need fire damage (added fire) and Elemental Army exposure stacks with combustion. actually it's better if you can get +fire on ghastly jewel, then swap added fire -> culling strike.

high level spectre has more survivability

Bloodbond actually reduces your necro's survivability.

I have an idea you can try for more survivability.

1. change the spectre to Primal Reborn.
2. change gems: raise spectre + spell echo + elemental proliferation + GMP + pierce + combustion.
3. get ghastly eye with added fire damage.

cold projectile spam with prolif and pierce should freeze lock monsters.
added fire damage + combustion will still give -20% fire res debuff.

Unfortunately, MB is more for solo players because groups are usually zoom zoom and try to keep up with the fastest player.

I think the fastest build could be CC HoP because it uses spiders for clear and the boots can be anything (you can use Stampede!).

Yes, all 5 spectres have to be SO’s. Carnage Chieftain can’t make use of a lot of the supports linked to Raise Spectre so it’s a major loss of DPS. Also, those chieftains need lifetap support to be constantly giving frenzy charges to the other minions and since you don’t use that in the spectre link, they will feel very underwhelming.

U can summon 4 SO from 6link and 1 supoort spectre from 2link (RSpectre+life tap).
Still a very bad idea though :)

I tried this a long time ago actually!

4x main spectre in 6L body. carnage in 4L with raise spectre + animate guardian + lifetap (was blood magic) + empower.

It works pretty well actually, but carnage is much more squishy nowadays because of the 3.13 nerf, so I don't recommend it.
