Its not just you :) look above to comments, anyway trapper / miner builds have LL / Life / Life + MoM variants and their trees are straightforward (base "must have" passives are always same) - this build of the week has for me nonsense tree, allocated Acrobatics, but no Phase Acrobatics - you are just throwing traps at range!

My point is more like - if ARC trapper (so popular and meta build) must be Build of the week, at least choose proper build - prioritize crit / crit multi and then shows ignored crit multi nodes and allocated light damage nodes?

Anyway im gonna contact BVcopter build maker, cause he really should propose his build - at least for its sounds :D

Feels boring and clunky, i abandoned trapper around lvl 60

Arc is ridonculusly OP but still traps are meh.

Next build of the week elementalist blade vortex ;)

Hopefully they nerf it nicely like Arc getting a 0.25s cooldown or something so it doesn't fuck selfcast while still stopping multitrap. It's GGG though so they'll probably just blanket nerf its damage by 60% and make traps the only viable way to use it.

What would 0.25s cooldown solve? Self-cast would be limited only to cast it 4 times per second, every totem will cast 4 times per second too, but trappers / miners throw / lay 5 traps / 4-5 mines per cast = 16-20 traps / mines per second - so from my point of view this gonna limit self-cast more and trapper / miner would still have 4-5 times more ARC casts per second

I played this league until lvl 91 dual shimmerons arc trapper and my trap throwind speed was 0.33 -> it means 0.25s cd would change nothing to my dps...

Its intentionally slow i'm pretty sure, I cleared far faster than this with trappers in previous leagues and they don't get anything like the coverage or damage that Arc gets. tbh you should clear at the same speed with any skill on traps/totems its movement skill > one skill usage > next pack.
