I've followed the guide for this build and it was a real blast to play it !

A bit earlier I ripped my Loreweave on the altar of corruption and went for a Kaom's Heart to try something new. Oddly, I feel even squishier than before. Is 1.5k more life really better defensive wise than 80% resist ? And I don't even talk about the offensive / utility you get with Loreweave.

Is the taming worth the price(~5ex) or is just better to get opal ring with good mods?

What cold/lightning damage is there to convert? Pyre/Brotherhood do have a large effect on my tooltip DPS but I can't figure out why. Any chance this is a tooltip bug from 3.3 changes? Ele hit always selects fire and I can't find any sources of cold/lightning damage on mine or OPs characters.

What am I missing?

The lightning and cold damage from ele hit skillgem itself.
