No point using Windripper when Quill Rain 1 shots packs anyway, the attack speed makes big difference. Mirage archer typically getting more kills then i do with Quill Rain

Unless you don't want to do bow swap for bosses then makes bit more sense i suppose. I like the swap though cause you can tailor your quiver for clear/bosses. Get onslaught chance on clear quiver is real nice if you don't have it on an abyss jewel

For players who have acquired everything in the "Complete Budget / Starter Gear Setup (< 1 Ex)", but have yet to move onward...

Given a limited budget, is there a good order to purchasing the next sequence of gear upgrades?

-Loreweave/Kaom's
-Xoph's Blood
-Lioneye's Fall
-Frostferno

To push uber elder ASAP, in which order should these upgrades be purchased? Assume Chin Sol is already 6-linked & resists are capped.

I'd go xophs, koams, frostferno, lioneyes.
W/xophs you can gain alot of points to put to life/dmg. Also it helps with koams str req.

Nvm xophs is 10ex now... Was 7 yesterday.id get koams and frostferno.

Yeah, that's what I'm hesitating about. Just trying to figure out which upgrade is the biggest bang for my buck. Thanks for your feedback.

Damage is not the lacking issue for me its life atm and all I have is a 5l chin and regular frostferno.

6L chin sol is a WASTE, IF you have frostferno, your single target is in there. So it doesn't matter how many links your chin sol is or isn't. You shouldn't use chin sol to clear, get a 6L quil rain - it's way faster clear and a 6L quil is like 1.5 ex?

Use remainder of monies to buy frostferno.

That's what I'd do anyway, 6L chin sol is a waste just sell it and do above. You only use chin sol the moment you teleport ontop of a boss to destroy with the single target inside Frostferno. Meaning the amount of sockets, links or gems inside chin sol matters none.

My chin sol is 5L because I used to clear with that, until I found quil is like 5x as fast... if you dont have frostferno then yeah you forced to use a 6L chin sol which is why its shitty.

I would sell the 6L chin sol and buy 6L quil + frostferno. Single target will be higher, no gem swaps, only press X to swap to a chin sol (1c) to get the 100% more dmg from it when ontop a boss. When lots of mobs/adds spawn you press X again and just rain hell upon them because quil rain is stupid with the attack speed.

Anyone have a really good leveling setup for this? Wanna use elemental hit as soon as I hit 12.
