[3.3] Popcorn Skeleton bomber (Minion instability Earendel's Embrace)

I've played a variant of this build and the buffed ignite proliferation support is awesome for clearing, better than Inc AoE imo (sub in conc effect on bosses).

I saw those Sceptres before the League and really wanted to make a build out of them.




This one dropped yesterday and I started leveling the character now, im hyped to try out my first minion build.

Skeleton Necromancer Ascendancy. It got changed one or two big patches ago. Let's you cast 3 at a time without cool down. 5 with from dust and cool down

Scepter and Shield or two sceptres? Could somebody help me out here

2 perfect sceptres will cause 36% damage per second (minions have 40% fire resistance)
Scepter and shield will cause 33% damage per second (because of the -10% fire resistance)
The shield gives more damage and bigger AoE but the healing could mess with stuff.
You can use Shield charge

I hope I can test my build later today.

Hey DreamScythe, big fan of your builds.

My incursion starter first began as a phys skelly guy, but the Earendel's Embrace piqued my interest in a Minion Instability build (One that doesn't use Umbilicus? Yes please).

It's actually pretty goddamn viable. I end up full-clearing Incursions and have a hefty amount of DPS (roughly 80k per skelly so far, my gear isnt perfect).

p.s: I use Dark Pact to make skellies die faster, and it has Added Cold for proccing EE.

I am finding that two sceptres is a little better.

Just started using Carnage Chieftains in my setup (hence the BM Spectre link), and realized I don't really want to kill my skellies faster with Dark Pact before they can explode with Frenzy Charges. Frenzy charges make their explosion damage MUCH more, so I'm trying to figure out how to get those in as much as possible.

just to be more percise, your minions regen 2% of thier life per sec from the invoker ascendancy node.

so the right calc is 36% dmg taken per sec, minus 2% from the regen.
that is 34% lost life per sec.
they explode when they reach low life (below 35%).
so that is taking them 1.912 sec before they explode

New corruption "+2 to level of socketed duration gems" works with Summon Skeleton gem so it is possible to get +5 helmet. But for now I just use this:
