Temple and experience curve

As I understand it, the temple NPC can be found in every area from the Mud Flats onwards which means that we get 2 areas instead of one every time we find her. How does that work without completely overleveling your character? Did GGG somehow account for this?

If not, we could just look for the NPC and skip everything else before maps...

I don't think the incursions are a full area... more like the contents of a good breach or abyssal crack. Did having one or more of those end up ruining your fun?
Im seriously wondering how insane this is going to be if you frequent smaller zones like Twilight Strand as i regularly arrive here pretty under leveled anyhow. Depending on how big the incursions are/ fast i can run them i want to guess that i could blast through multiple temples in an hour, and get all the rooms upgraded to that level range. Doing this may prove useful for blasting currency early on to flesh out your builds.

Do that while farming a useful zone, like the blood aqueduct.

If you overlevel the zone to much, it will lower the quantity of drops you get. This apply up to char level 68.

Nonsense. The penalty only applies to currency.
Because Blood Aqueduct is the only zone where it worth to do Incursions before hitting maps, duh.
Got to ask... what's so special about Blood Aqueduct?

Well I've been complaining about it for about a year and half. I always used to full clear all zones while leveling. And the xp curve was fine.

But, over the past 18 months it has gotten worse and worse to the point that if you do full clear all zones you end up 6+ levels above the zones by the time you reach act 8.

I don't like that more xp keeps getting added as it is essentially a driving force towards skipping content.
