Dual Sunder Jugg 3.3 Starter
INTRODUCTION This build is mainly made for myself to progress easely at the start of 3.3. This build is to safely map with a decent speed. Because of the mitigation a Juggernaut have Uberlab will be easy to do with little investment (50c at the most). OVERVIEW Pros: + Very budget friendly + Good league starter + Can farm Uberlab + Tanky + Semi good clear speed Cons: - Damage requires some investment - Not offscreening - Reflect maps are bad SKILL TREE Juggernaut Passives (lvl 90) Ascendancy Points: Unflinching -> Unbreakable -> Unstoppable* -> Unrelenting *You can swap Unstoppable for Undeniable, but it requires you to use Kaom's Roots, and spec out of Resolute Technique on the passive tree. It is more damage, but less movement speed. Since we are leap slamming most of the time to get around, some people might prefer the damage. Bandits:Help Oak. 1% life regen, 2% physical dmg taken reduced, 20% increased physical damage. We want that physical damage mitigation, and the 2 other stats are nice as well. LEVELING TREES
Spoiler
SKILL TREE EXPLANATION Generally on the skill tree, i take as many efficient life, regen and axe/dualwield nodes as possible. We want to survive and not die every 3rd or 4th map, so life is a priority. We have 211% increased life from the skill tree alone, with is more than most builds can say. We wants enough damage to do the content we aim for (clear maps safely to get atlas progress and farm uberlab), and enough attack speed to make sure our leap slam feels good, as it is our movement skill. As for keystones we take: - Resolute Technique We dont want to miss, this ensures that never happens. If you take Undeniable as your ascendancy node, dont take Resolute technique as it denies you the oppertunity to crit and get the damage bonuses. - Iron Reflexes Converts all our evation rating to armor. We want to get hit to proc our ascendancy node Unbreakable, that gives us more life regen, the more damage we have mitigated in the past 10 seconds. JEWELS On regulair jewels we want: - %Life - %Attackspeed - %Attackspeed with axes - %Attackspeed with one handed - %Attackspeed while dual wielding - Increased damage with axes - Increased damage with one handed - Increased damage while dual wielding Stats and resists we might need. As for Abyss jewels: - Max life - Increased attackspeed - Added damage to axe attacks - Added damage to attacks Things such as blind on hit is very nice as well. GEAR GEAR EXPLANATION
Spoiler
Weapon
Soul taker can be a bit expansive, but with it we are able to run arctic armor for even more defence. Jack, The Axe is a cheap weapon to use early, it does the job. Or a rare weapon with 300+ Pdps. We want to use a rare axe with high Pdps rather than sticking with Soul Taker. Off-Hand Since we use sunder, we dont attack with our offhand. This allows us to use a offhand that boost our main attack with just its stats. Prismatic Eclipse gives some nice attackspeed to sunder and faster leapslams. The Princess is very cheap, and give almost identical damage to the Prismatic Eclipse, but our leap slams will be slower. A rare elder claw or mace will be better if it have 2 affixes with %phys as extra elemental damage. Helm Starkonja's Head have alot of max life, and gives us some attackspeed. It also gives some needed dex for our gems to be high level. If you cant equip it because you lack dex, u can simply put on a necklace or some other piece of gear that gives enough dex, take Starkonja on, and then remove the necklace or whatever again. A rare helmet with life and resist can get the job done as well. Chest A rare chest with high armor, life and resist is enough to farm uberlab. Belly of the Beast can be used, it will give more life than a rare armor, and already have a decent resist. We dont really want to use tabula for late game (When leveling its great), since we rely on the 2x armor from our body armor because of Unbreakable. A 5l 1k+ armor, body armor is better than tabula in almost all cases. Gloves Im just using some rare gloves with life, resist and some damage. If you can essence craft a good pair of gloves, they would be better to use with leap slam socketed. Boots A rare pair of boots with life, resist and movement speed would be the best. Amulet Bloodgrip will give life, damage and regen. It also makes bleeding less of a problem. Otherwise use a rare amulet with life, resist and some damage. Rings Le heup of all helps with attributes and gives a decent amount of resist. Its a decent item to get. A rare ring with life, resist and damage would be better tho, but can also be more expensive. Belt Belt of the Deceiver is a cheap and effective belt. Use it, love it. The most important part of this belt is that it intimidates enemies, giving us 10% MORE damage against them. It also have a little life and some resist. LINKS AND GEMS Main DPS Setup Red Green Blue Sunder - Concentrated Effect - Melee Physical Damage - Multistrike - (5L)Ruthless - (6L)Added Fire Damage CWDT Setup Cast When Damage taken - Enfeeble - Blood Rage Enfeeble will make the enemies do less damage Its nice to have blood Rage active at all time, and this ensures that. Mobility Setup Leap Slam - Faster Attacks - Fortify - Blood Magic Leap slam is our main mobility. We use faster attacks to make it even better. We will get buffed with fortify everytime Leap Slam hits anything. Since we dont have a good mana regen, but have a high life regen, we use Blood Magic to be able to spam Leap Slam. Aura Setup Hatred and Herald of Ash. Hatred will flat out give us more damage. Herald of ash will give us a bit more coverage in AoE siturations, since the burning damage from overkill can hit enemies that didnt get hit by sunder. Golem Stone Golem or Lightning Golem Stone Golem us used if you want even more life regen. Lightning Golem will give more attack speed, and therefore more mobility with Leap Slam LEVELING Use Cleave until lvl 12 when you can pickup Sunder. Sunder will carry you the rest of the way. Remember to pickup support gems listed in gem links on the way. Usefull leveling items: Weapons The Screaming Eagle and The Gryphon both have good damage and mobility. The Gryphon is the upgraded version of The Screaming Eagle. Everything else THE END Last edited by Bartimaus123#3760 on May 24, 2018, 5:01:49 AM Last bumped on Sep 3, 2018, 1:45:10 PM

Nice. Have yet to try playing a sunder build throughout the league. I will be playing this as my main for 3.3
Thanks for the work! |

Hi! HC viable?
|
|
" Definitely, its actually THE go to build for many HC racers, you can be ranger or templar or even witch to use this build. |
|
Couple of comments, since I ran this build 4 times last league.
Thieves torment is a great ring that will last you to early mapping. Use the rustic sash recipe to constantly get upgrades as you level, you will want your 1h axes to have base 1.4 attack speed though. Brightbeak is really really good early game, and can be kept in the weapon swap for quick leap slams. If you use soul taker, you can get use all of your mana for auras, and just leap slam around with blood magic. If you do not have prismatic offhand, you might not want multistrike, it'll lock you in animation for way too long in lots of boss fights. Strongly recommend the gryphon, it can usually carry you till you can use a siege axe or soul taker,. Last edited by doomdg#5736 on May 29, 2018, 1:10:24 AM

Hi! Any advice on how to play this build as SSF in 3.3?
|
|
" You can check out RaizQT and MartyPOE's stream vod during SSFHC Flashback, both were using this build to race on deadeyes. But in general this is the easiest SSF build, there are enough essences and rustic sashes out there to keep your leveling smooth, Prismatic Eclipse, Brightbeak, and The Princess are all fairly common drops. If you get a Flesh Eater, that can also be used in lieu of an axe. Once you hit Blood Aqueducts you can farm there until you get a Tabula, I think prismatic is also a common drop there, and with the build using Resolute technique there's no real gearing needs for crit or accuracy, allowing you to just stack defenses. |
