Another item that will boost dps further is +2 convoking wand, inc minion dmg (50+) and or trigger spell also possible on wand (losing a golem but the 2 levels is more dps when i measured). In your case, 2 x +2 convoking wand. The only 2 reasons not to go that route are cost... and cost... awakened spell echo, also cost. but its a min max world in which we live. As I said, The Primordial Chain is the better choice for us, well rolled (35% less damage) it gives a tad more damage than any other Amulet unelss of course you can get a mighty expensive +1 lvl to Fire/Str Skill Gems Amulet.
At first glance it does nothing for our defenses but 7.5% physical damage reduction and 200 flat life regeneration per second is nothing to be sneezed at. |

" +2 Wands will be more damage indeed but I couldn't care less, not so much because of the costs but but I don't want to lose any regen, phys dmg reduction and indeed Fortify. And with only six Flame golems you probably need Multiple Projectiles which comes with a hefty damage penalty. (maybe a white socket to switch for bosses but getting 4 x Blue on Belly was painful enough ;) Awa Spell Echo is different story tho... I figured you were balancing o vs d, was curious how the upper end content was these days with beefed flame gs? awa SE is less than half as much as awa MS, which was painful to acquire. on 100, yes, ty, finally managed to stop doing all high risk content and just cross the finish. ;) |

Have you guys done any big boss fights? Sirus 9? Maven? Breachlords?? I really want to see some videos if possible. With the numbers i see i doubt golems even have the damage for it

I haven't run flame Gs since right before 3.9. At that time, I had cleared all bosses in game. I agree, I don't think anything sub 10M dps is viable for all content since 3.9
As of 3.9, I have been stone G, and that has the dps. 20M-35M single target, even after nerf. Which is to say, 1 of my stone g has more single target than all of tomay's flame gs. And so all has been relatively easy. In 3.13, it seems maven introduces another layer of difficulty. I have not done maven yet and I failed at my first maven/shaper attempt, that fight is crazy, but doable. Right now, i'm messing around with trying to introduce a melee skill into build, while somewhat functional, i lose too much dps. I'm sure I can make something work. " Only did Sirus, twaa easy enough... I don't have all that much much time atm and don't really care for the new Atlas stuff... was chasing the new Primordial Blocks Hideout and doing mostly Heists, Most DPS you will get if you replace Multiple Projectiles with Concentrated Effect which is also a big boost for the odd Flame Wave (but getting 5xB on Belly is a bit much to ask, so I'll stick with Empower or Awa Fire Penetration). Either way, if you're running with eight Flame Golems, Multiple Projectiles Support isn't necessary with regard to clear speed. If you get a Ghastly Eye with Fire Damage, you can also link Elemental Army to Stone/Chaos Golem with Combustion for another 10% fire resistance reduction (Exposure), that's a whopping -80% with EE. Add to that up to 98% with dual cursing and fire penetration and you get the picture. However, in this case you'll have to rely on the Lightning Golem to provide Feeding Frenzy which I'm sure is fine... I'm just a bit starved for sockets. ;) The best enchant for our Jewels is "increased Area of Effect of Aura Skills", this can amount to another 10% more damage... other useful enchants are life regen, minion life, movement speed, stun avoidance, plenty options here. |

Stun Avoidance is actually quite common (and indeed nice to have), I have it on a few Jewels already and since I have 13 jewels in total, complete stun immunity is possible... while I have yet to see life regen/ES recharge, those seem to be the rarest of the bunch.
