Why would I not just skip this and move onto maps with content that drops more loot?

It´s kind of like D3´s rift system. It´s not really fun in the long run, you must beat a timer that you can only beat with very specific builds. It´s all about killspeed and rushing through the maps. As faster you do it, as more loot you get.

I always hated that system at D3, not sure why they have to introduce this at POE, but then again, Breach was exactly like that and the young folks like that type of "brainless" gameplay.

Shame, really. POE always stood out but now it´s not progressing anymore.

Has probably many combinations to get the whole temple encounter completed.
Looks like a mix of Breach Lord realms and normal open world Breach combined with puzzle-rewards.
Looks promsing but we will see how this works out.

Btw.
Council supporter pack is by far the best 30$ buy. That portal looks amazing as well as the weapon effect. All other tree look decent ,nothing spectacular but not bad as the Harbinger armour sets.
Conquest portal effect looks weird as it clips very hard. Should be slightly scaled down.

I like the ideal of how you can change risk & rewards ideal.
