Im 100% and doubly sure that they made the changes to double strike so that they could more than double the amount of times they could say double in that paragraph.

Skills within skills you get automatically?

Why not make the skills initially feel impactful instead?

So, with the vaal gems now giving you the original skill as well, does that mean I can put vaal summon skeletons in a totem support, and the regular SS will be totems and I can cast VSS manually off the same gem???

edit: also i think with this new vaal detonate dead my dreams of using too many totems to spray corpses to feed it as it goes off are finally coming true

Nope. They said vaal skills prevent gaining souls for a short duration.

I'm looking forward to vaal skill reworks, despite my lack of confidence in GGG. There's bound to be at least one that's worth using.
