The royale mod was the most popular pvp ever race mode in PoE.

Why? It was short, fun, active, without items/leveling needed, challenging with prize.


To OP: LLD is much easier to access for new players bcos of premade characters. You can change the tree/class whenever you want without boring leveling.

it was easy to consume and easy to get bored of too. Your argument is only considering the fact that it was popular. It was like summer justin timberlake song, easy to consume, yet something that you'd forget in 2 weeks. IT didn't have any depth, totally RNG based and so on. However you can't build whole pvp at such foundations. I think we all can agree that the depth in this game makes us to play this game and it's pvp, any pvp which isn't investing on that is doomed to fail in my opinion.

Indeed

Rupenus - it could attract new people bcos of its popularity but it´s just one kind of interesting pvp mode and first attempt anyway.
