Announcing PATH OF EXILE: ROYALE

Instead of wasting time and resources on this april's fool "joke", you should spent this time on fixing the game, resolve support tickets, and other important stuff, fools (april ones).

I'm afraid, due to the sudden popularity of this "league" even in our community, it's going to stick. =D

Monsters are too strong. Area is too small. Class starting weapon too imbalanced.
Not fun at all, just a waste of time.

Haha, even for an aprils fools joke, this actually sounds strangely appealing.
Just imagine an island filled with equipment and skillgems randomly where character lvl, gemlvl and itemlvl doesnt matter (to some degree). Then let exiles spawn in randomly and fight to the death :D

It fits with the theme of Wraeclast as well, i for one think dominus wouldnt hesitate to mete out such fates :P

Some people are genuinely allergic to fun, to the point where a mere possibility of someone else having fun sends them into an uncontrollable frenzy.

Overall, this was pretty goofy, tried it a few times, lost all of them, naturally, but hey it was a cool gimmick :D

In its current state there's no way this should be allowed to stay, but, dare i say it, it has...potential? :D Like, this can actually work out as a legit PvP mode if one puts some work into balancing and filling the map with more stuff.

But then again trying to balance this mode out would actually take resources from general development away, so yeah, probably not worth it.
