Why are the leveling builds so wildly different from the PoB version? I know you swap, but that looks like a colossal amount of Regrets.

You play as life based for a while before swapping over. Basically sustain through flasks and profane bloom will carry your damage.

I managed to swap on day 2 of the league by doing the respec quests. You can keep a few lifepoints allocated and just respec whenever you have regrets

You gave credit to the original build creator, who have not themselves posted the build on the forums so that's a +1 from me.

I personally am curious about Beast Fur Shawl, if you care to chime in on that. The regen quotient for it is amazing, and having used it in the past for RF am aware that it makes up for itself in terms of damagetaken vs. recovery rate increase. The AoE alone would be PogChamp considering you are RF. 470 es vs. your 488, but with the loss of the es recovery on kill. Maybe for bossing without adds... Thoughts?

Overall great addition to the listing.

Cheers

I considered Beast Fur Shawl, but after comparing it to a shaped regalia the difference in survivability was too big for me. Running -max or 60% less regen maps the 3-6% es on kill really carries. Usually you charge into a pack with 50% ES and the 3-6% instantly puts you at max.

It's a pretty nice chest before you can get a regalia going though!

I think the build also got listed as scorching ray accidentally!

So I ripped this build last night in a really stupid way not long after getting to maps. Like 79 or 80ish. Overall though, it felt awesome for clearing, but even like mid tier map bosses I ended up port cheesing because I degened so fast and was SOL after I used vaal disc. Is that how the build is? Or did I just not have enough damage?

It all depends on the map boss. Some are really shitty for this build (like Desert Spring). Did you use two vaal disciplines?

Yeah I did. Most bosses werent dead by the time both were used though. Im guessing I should just use a dousing flask in those situations and just let it recharge between bursts of RF?
I feel like this might rely too heavily on mob density to work.

I tried my first few maps and any break in packs seems to get me killed. I need pack after pack to keep myself from degen.

It's heavily reliant on what boss it is. Desert Springs is almost undoable (I really hate Lava Chamber too).

Any in particular that causes an issue?

Early on when you are expanding your atlas and doing random maps make sure you pop a vaal discipline between packs if it's needed. Should help you a lot.

Some maps are also quite horrible and I generally only do them once (Lava Chamber is an example).
Hey I'm planning to run this build in the upcoming race and I'm a bit worried about single target damage. Is there a reason for not running a 4/6 link SR setup? or is the RF damage alone enough for single target damage
