Yes you're right but I can't see anything to drop to grab it. Maybe the es node above Arcane focus, but I think I value ES above the damage. You could drop one of the reservation nodes near Sovereignty if you don't need it.

Breath of the Council? No. Apep's might be a good idea, unless you can get a really good ES shield.

What do you think about using Carnage Hearth as an "intermediary" amulet? I got a quite decent DO drop today and was considering using it for a new alt =3

I came back to Death's Oath for my league starter in Synthesis. Damn those buffs made a huge difference. I went a different way, focusing on map clearing speed in t11-16. Was a lot of fun, sunk a few hundred hours into theory. Finished a little over 200k aura dps, 8k es. Felt immortal even in 8 mod red tier maps.

Apeps is a great shield, but the ES on it sucks. So I swapped back to just using the watcher's eye to be immune to bleed with malevolence so I had an extra flask slot, Rumi's OP. Sorrow's Divine flask is hilariously useful at the beginning since I didn't go to left side of tree at all, even opting to drop a curse for more flexible theory. Intuitive leap jewel so I maintained 4 frenzy and 3 endurance charges. Soooo much fun. Here's mine, Synthesis league finished build. Goodluck!

I added Energy from Within under the Melding nodes for extra ES.

Could be useful for those that want to use grey spire but feel like they need more ES.

Most of the affixes on it are useless for this build, but the all res and stats are useful.

I haven't been using the 2 spreading rot jewels (just 1 for me). But this is interesting, it doesn't seem to be doubling wither.

Yeah I saw that. Boils down to, two jewels are a waste. With just one those, ehh, I might just drop both and get a wither totem instead of CDWT IC. Or you can drop one, and get a rare one. I'm going to wait a bit for an official word from GGG and make the change final.

It's okay for a start. You need solstice vigil, aspect of the spider and a better wand. Probably better belt too.
