Some Bestiary Changes in Patch 3.2.1
Beast Trading
3.2.1 allows you to trade beasts with other players! Just buy a Bestiary Orb from Einhar, travel to your Menagerie and use it on a beast in a cage. It'll convert the beast to an item which can then be listed on trade sites and traded to other players using the secure trade screen. Fuck that shit...gonna be a nightmare remembering (unless u make a list for yourself) what beast is needed for what....another level of confusion added... “Human decency is not derived from religion. Still missing:
1) Getting nets out of our inventory. A currency pouch would do it. A counter instead of a pile of nets would work too. Will not play this league if nets stay as they are, and will toss this game in the waste bin if you migrate them to core without a way of getting them out of the character's inventory. No negotiation on this issue. 2) Penalty for killing. The necro-nets are a Band-Aid for this and not an acceptable solution. You need to solve this problem once and for all if you're going to get players back. You can't penalize a player for killing a monster. That's what your whole game is based on. In no way should killing a monster keep a player from a reward. It's really not brain surgery. Fix this, or I wont be playing the league or the core game if it migrates. 3) Interruption of combat to target creature. You seem to know this is a problem. Figured either you would have some actual good idea on how to make this league more fun... hard IMO since as I see it it's a pretty bad idea, but the one thing I can think of is at least make red beasts spawn more often.
Or the other "solution" which I was suspecting was you would throw rewards at people for doing beastcrafting, to really force it and make people stay a while longer. Seems neither was correct. Kind of don't want the "solution" of just having rewards thrown at us. Was hoping for something good that I could not think of but would have settled for more rare beast and maybe make them drop maps or something to address the issues people are having with sustaining. | |
beyond mechanical issues and things like generate a unique map recipe being buggy
we need more red monsters, a bare minimum of 1 per map (to me this is the equivalent of introducing breach/abyss/harb and saying you will get a breach/abyss/harb every 5+ maps as the yellows are just rares so are nothing new). remove the rubbish recipes, I'd rather 30 good recipes than 300 rubbish, is anyone using the generate a rare trash item recipes? bring in more actual crafting, rather than just more random rng, there is already mountains of rng in the game. poetrade currently list millions of items but there are only 35 rare items with 'can have multiple crafted mods'. While there are more ways to craft than that something better than total rng locked behind rare content would be good. please relook at map drop rates |

Im level 90 and have 4 encroaching darkness cards dropped lmao...buff item and map drops or this league is gonna be dead in a week (more dead than it already is). Also the nets are just a boring, tedious mechanic, nobody enjoys it. Just let us kill the beasts to capture it or something or at the very least just give us a permanent net. Its already super old listening to that dumb net ding sound every 5 seconds even though I have them turned off in my loot filter. Nobody wants to or needs to hold 8000 steel nets in their inventory.
Also the real biggest problem with this is that theres not even a way to mark what beasts you need or anything. When youre mapping you just have 0 idea what you actually need/whats worth something. Oh and I doubt beast trading is gonna be very popular because nobody is gonna want to run back and forth between their hideout and the menagerie to make some stupid beast trade thats worth 2 alt. I know it sounds like im just complaining a lot but I still feel like this league could be fun. Im still enjoying the game as a whole but it just gets real tiring running your 20th map in a row and getting hardly any currency and just a bunch of damn nets. Another thing, like 90% of the beast recipes are utterly useless. Nobody wants to craft a level 12 staff with 2 dexterity or whatever, just remove most of them. Complete waste of space trying to scroll thru them all in the blood altar. Especially when its smarter to just alch an item or use an essence instead of crafting these crappy rares. One last thing, like I said im level 90, and ive encountered ONE BOSS beast the entire time....and the boss was glitched and didnt even let me complete it, wtf. Just feels like this league was rushed out way too early overall. None of the things listed here touch the real issues of this league. Waiting for full notes, but so far not hyped.

Really wish you would get rid of necro nets completely. People should have to trap them while they are alive.
With that, buff their spawn rate and make the recipes a bit stronger, I actually love this league just want more beast encounters! | |
Net throwing speed is a great improvement, however adding the necromancy-net AoE to the regular ones would be even better. You already have the mechanic of picking the rarest beast out of a pack working, after all.

Good stuff!
Still need Stash in Menagerie, and make rare canines work correctly, and get rid of all the canine dependencies among a range of recipes pls. Seems pretty imba. |
