This will never happen, as developers want you to stay in the town as long as possible. Thanks to this, you have the chance to watch (and then buy) various shiny MTX and other players can see yours (and buy them from developers), if of course you have one. It is for this reason that you will never start game from your hideut nor vendors in the hideout will not be able to trade currency. It's easy. If you see something very stupid and easy to fix and you wonder why no one has fixed it yet, the answer is clear. Money.

what, just like we will never have hideouts because they want us to see mtx in town?

No. Hiedout’s are “good” for devs, as there are also MTX for them. But to see them, you have to appear there. That's why there will also be no automated trade. Never ever in PoE life :) The strategy is the following: You start in the town, not in the hideout, and in the town you also buy the currency. That way you have to spend some time there, even if you do not want it and you do not like it (like me). Then you go to your hideout (asap), but if you want to buy something from other player, you are forced to go to his hideout or he is forced to visit yours. And watch all shiny MTX. Money :)

Though, I'd note, it might not necessarily require a separate vendor to be satisfied; just as Ctrl+click purchases, perhaps they could add a shortcut for "ctrl+shift+click" to purchase a whole stack.

This could be explored a bit further; maybe even allowing you to fill your inventory in one click... Or even just making that "ctrl+shift+click" letting you outright specify a number. (y'know, like when unstacking currency)

Because burning your currency as quick as you get it is a losing proposition? (note: not a question. A statement; it's factually true)

Also, for those of us that've gotten it know, currency tabs let us have 5k currency per stack, and also has the "free" spots that let us have multiple stacks of the same type of currency; this can actually be necessary, especially for stuff like chromatics (where some offcolor rolls could take tens of thousands) but also just because when you play the game enough, you do wind up getting a lot.
