Should i tick "is the enemy shocked?" in pob? I'm not sure if im properly applying shock to end game bosses.

" You should only tick if you have Vaal Lightning Trap. First Up, get to level 95 Next save up for a dying sun, while keeping an eye out for dex rings. You want dex over anything else, worst case scenarios drop some life, you can make it up with levels + Starkonja's. From there on, it's just going to be lots of money to min max, bow, body, helm and gloves all have to be replaced at the same time and may cost a lot cause that's 2 6ls. So, I'm about done with min/maxing my character - pretty strong and fun build I have to say.
Props and thanks to OP for the guide, but may I say a personal opinion in a civilized manner. I've been using PoB since the first week of its Beta release when easily 9 out of 10 people wouldnt even know what this program is. I'm always trying to min/max my one or two builds per league and its fun. Also, I know this build is NOT cheap anymore these days, since it became really popular so the prices have skyrocketed. Having said all the above - I'd advise the future guide makers to try and keep the "virtual" BiS items as less as possible. Those of us who are willing to throw 10-20ex per item, usually dont mind if the build is not "cheap" anymore - but some of these items in your PoB are borderline near-impossible to get. My point is - when someone is tryharding to min/max, every bit matters. I'd spent up to 10ex for literally 100% the same ring as mine BUT with 42 light resist instead of 39 because then I could proc Wise Oak for both cold/light pen. These boots, chest and Power Charge on Crit (bow) alone would open up so many more possibilities on getting a good balance between life/resists AND somewhat closer to 10-15mill DPS but for 99.5% of us here, its not gonna happen. Anyway, other than my thoughts, still, thanks OP for the guide/build and I'm not trying to be an a$$hole here - just a legit proper conversation. Here is my take on the build - changed some stuff, tried to make it more realistic with the Frenzy/Power charge generation on "auto-pilot/single target". I dont like switching gems or have to bother with Frenzy skill, I just wanted to have my auras/golem up and go. PS. The only thing I'd switch for Shaper/Uber Elder is Dying Sun, but when mapping, you dont even need it. Stats more or less : 5.2k life, 81fire/83light/83cold res, 132k Barrage Hideout DPS, 5.3mill legit single target (Shaper) DPS. |
