Just make it so the Traumatical nets capture the "soul" of a creature so that them being dead doesn't mater...

I say No. The whole point and challenge of the league is to try and capture them alive.

Honestly, the most frustrating thing for me as a necromancer is that I have a really hard time targeting the monster that's alive, especially if it spawns a lot of smaller enemies.
If there's something that can be done to address that particular problem I think that'd be better than adding the ability to capture dead beasts, at least in my opinion. |

I want to say no, but I can see the value is reducing frustration for some players. Death-nets would have to be extremely rare, though, or they would essentially eliminate the purpose of every other net in the game outright. Capturing rare and challenge beasts should be a challenge...not just beat them to death in a few seconds and then pick up their corpse. Still, accidentally killing that once in a hundred maps beast you were looking for with specific mods would make most people pretty salty, having a once in a hundred maps net that can recover the body makes sense.

Voted yes. In my mind, prior to the league it was a net that would cover an area and not an individual target. With the push for density individually targeting THE_THING and not just 90% on center of mass of where it is as it's doing its crazy pathing is nearly maddening, you either need to have the sudden deeps to run up on it and drop it in 3 seconds flat, or hope that it's not a flicker spider/leaping bug, or anything else that isn't a slow predictable mob to capture it.
I'd rather you either make nets aoe, allow us to capture when dead, or just skip the net aspect and make them significantly harder if you drop them to 1hp (like an enrage mechanic) so you can "subdue" them after fighting their enraged state. |

Why would anyone want this? The whole point of the league is to *optionally* allow you to capture beasts alive.
Everything else in the damn game is loot from dead mobs. Why homogenize this one unique mechanic? Seems like a bunch of crybabies that don't want to adapt their previously OP builds or gameplay to an even slightly different environment. |

So, if i understand correctly, we can now just start with a net throw that will tag the mob invulnerable for a couple seconds and just dps the rest while it's in there ? That's fine and all, but it still doesn't change the fact that the net could release the mob after cause it's life needs to be lowered to be able to trap it and that could prove difficult for some builds, not mine, but, but surely some. In that case, it might be useful for some mechanic to exist.
Honestly, i'd prefer you add rarer nets that guarantuee a capture. But if you absolutely want to push this through, add the catch dead things nets at a rarer tier. It would also solve the problem of immersion and have the same end result so i really don't see why not.
