You can use a spell to hit, arc etc, only needed on bosses

The damage is not that much different, again only needed on bosses.
I've looked at both in POB, and the more multiplier and 100% accuracy from the Champion taunt node makes things pretty close, plus the perma intimidate. The 180% inc minion damage from necro loses value as you get more of it

The Dancing Duo use melee hits from their cyclone, and with Champion buffs does almost double the damage over necro.

A decoy totem should also trigger the taunt buffs



It is an issue to start rampage. Against elder guardian you lose all the rampage and won't have it on the fights. But seriously do make a guide. This build made it trivial to lv up friends in blood aqueduct. They just shield charge all the way while the swords kill everything. Sub 30 seconds run.
I'm really loving this build! Interested to see how far I can push with it content-wise. I like how active the playstyle is thanks to keeping rampage up and constantly summoning skeletons compared to regular spectre summoner.

I get what you're saying and it could be an option.
I focus more on Skeletons damage I could double DD's damage but instead get To Dust or increased Minion Damage which does less for DD as flat added minion damage.
Using DD for clearing Junk and skeletons for bosses as they are more reliable was what I was thinking. Without Bone Sculptor that would be much harder.

DD is not intended to make it to every boss. With bosses having stupidly long times between phases and multiple phases its hard. This is why skeletons are the Focus of increasing damage instead of DD as DD has enough damage to clear up to rares in T16 maps with no problem. Skeletons have 5x the single target damage per second so are more suited for bosses swap out Melee Spash for Multistrike and watch them go to town.

Thanks a bunch for your support! Content wise I seem to be able to do everything up to Gardians/Shaper/Uber Atziri which I just haven't tried due to time constraints. Similarly I am enjoying this over the normal Spectre Summoner much more

Hmm as DD clear everything by itself in normal maps I think I will use muktistrike anyway. I am using a 5 link for now.

What would you use in the queen's escape as a swap for bosses?
Ok I just tested and 4 wurm flasks work! I downed red elder with a couple of deaths. But could use the flasks to activate rampage there. I did that with a 5 link (so without multistrike) and I didn't have the colours to use flesh offering there.

How's survivability overall? I see you have 4.2k life + 1.6 ES.
I am on softcore. You learn how to dodge. I move very fast to a group, turn around and summon skeletons. Everything melts and I keep going. Bosses are kind of a joke because I can be on the back just spamming arc. So far I am up to tier 12 maps and did red elder.

The worst mod is cannot regenerate shield and multiple projectiles with chain. The last one actually kills you a lot so I'm not doing them anymore.

Thanks, man, good to know since I can't decide between this one and the baron zombie build. Guess I'll do both.
How is this build on end game bosses? I'm curious because I'd love to play something other than spectre that's a summoner build.
What about grip of the council for gloves? HP, res, 20% more dmg?
