Scion - [3.5] The Blinding Blizzard - Whispering Ice CI Elequisitor - Viable For Everything - Forum

I obviously haven't played Occultist with this build, but no, it cannot imho. I played a PP occultist a bit last league. I was dying fast pretty directly after the portal everytime in white and yellows: I several times didn't look at the map affixes... With my Scion I simply didn't really care: even the no leech ones: go back to hideout and fetch a mana flask, done. If not enough, we can somehow adapt sibyl's lament. It would be enough. Scion with "i don't care attitude" is the better choice of course. But i like occultist "don't care attitude" too, in better tanking capabilities, full stun, freeze, and chill immunity and ES regen and recharge options. It's the age old damage vs defence argument iirc. Pure fire conversion should still beat out Pure Cold damage in terms of damage on bosses, but Pure Cold has both Chill and Freeze for safely plus HoI and WO for help with trash clearing.
