I can't understand this hypocrisy.. Killing anima.. ekhm.. VIRTUAL MONSTERS in fight in a map is fine. Killing VIRTUAL MONSTERS in fight in a big cage is not... Wtf???? Leaving aside all vegan-animal rights-moral or whatever concerns some people have for whatever reasons. This mechanic just doesn't make sense for POE. Like we sacrifice beasts and an item appears from the sky. Who's giving this item to us? The old testament god? Every other crafting method required some crafting material like orbs or essences and it was done on existing items. Am i missing something on the lore of the game? I think that by fighting them in "altar arena" you are using their lifeforce to imbue your items / imbue items made of their bodies. Killing roa and droping chest armor have sense to you? Where this big chicken hide that armor? And aside from that people are using parts of animals as tools since thousands of years.. Think pls.
