"Set items" concept is one of the most obvious ideas in games. But here are quasi-set items. They have very synergistic properties, but you do not have explicit addidtional bonuses for wearing more of them. BTW D2 created set items long before PoE, and it has worked fine. Purpose of this league in a nutshelll...slow down the speed race to 100...Problem is anyone racing to level 100 will skip this mechanic. My guess is most players lose interest within 2 to 3 weeks and only a small group of players actually use it consistently. Gonna give it a shot but expectations are very low.
