[3.17] For Marauder - Ngamahu's Flame Cyclone / Consecrated Path / Tectonic Slam Build

SSF friendly?

Not exactly SSF friendly cos though Ngamahu's Flame is a common drop, RNG can be a pain in the ass.

You can however still play the build using any 2H axe with some minor adjustments (dropping Point Blank, Iron Grip) in the skill tree till you get the axe dropped. Especially if you go for Consecrated Path and Tectonic Slam.

did ur build this league: great job thx. also ur build guide is pretty detailed. now the questions:

next league: wouldnt windbreaker be a good option since its right next to the tree?

whats this tawhoas chosen skill?

is there a big defensiv loss when going for deaths fury for extra ash damage instead of cleansing water?

also i wanna mix things up a bit by replacing ngamahu with kongors undying rage terror maul (eo chieftain + kaoms heart). im not good with calcs tho and i have no clue how this numbers actually feel ingame

I believe you meant Wind Dancer. It is a good choice since it is just 1 skill node away.

Tawhoa's chosen is a mirage of you (similar to Saviour sword).

You can now get Cover in Ash from Infernal Warcry so going Cleansing Water for more survivability is overall better.

The cooldown duration of warcry can be a chore but all useful warcry skill nodes are just right next to the skill tree so you can always tweak the skill tree and pick them up.

As for Kongor's Undying, you will have to swap axe nodes for mace nodes instead. It now has a lower base attack speed of 1.15 so the gameplay could be clunky.

Assuming you are playing Consecrated Path or Tectonic Slam with Kongor, you have to pick up Magmatic Strikes from the skill tree for the 40% fire conversion.

In short, how do you generate Endurance Charges with this build? (as Tectonic Slam Chieftain)

Is Mob Mentality Cluster Jewel Passive the only source of them and would it be possible to use something like Enduring Cry with this build?

What @Heronik209 said.

However, there are several ways to general endurance charges:

1. Inexorable or Disciple of Unyielding anointment
2. Endurance charge on melee stun support gem
3. Enduring Warcry instead of Infernal Warcry
4. Daresso's Defiance

Now that Ngamahu's wep got "nerfed", is it still viable?

Ngamahu is buffed from 433.5 to 451.9.

You can be stunned now while using cyclone... :(

High life pool will be able to mitigate that. Otherwise, you can spend 3 skill points and pick up Unwavering Stance from the skill tree.

Alternatively, there is Kaom's Root but the lack in movement speed can be a pain. However, you will be immune to freeze wearing that too.
So far there are so many variants of the build that I simply have no idea what to start with.

Can anyone recommend one that has the most flexibility towards endgame? I tend to pick 1 max 2 builds per league and go with them to endgame and beyond.

Among these, what would be the best one to start but also has high damage potential once I start gathering some ex?

Should I go for slayer? Zerker? Scion? Stick with chieftain?

I did cyclone before with a slayer, but I never played with ngamahu,so I don't know what path to take for the best endgame damage, uber elder, uber atziri, deeper delving and so on. No, not 1000+ delve, but at least 5-600 without serious problems.
I'm wanting to league start with this build and have a question about the berzerker ascendancy chosen in the guide. I'm confused about the selection of War Bringer and Rite of Ruin together as it seems that the rage sacrificing from War Bringer and the tripled effect of rage from Rite of Ruin don't they kind of interfere with one another? if sacrificing 25 rage gives you 50% stronger exerts but lose effectively 75% physical damage doesn't that mean there is higher damage potential from staying at high rage? Am I missing the point of War Bringer?

Cheers

If you are going to play Consecrated Path or Tectonic Slam, I recommend Chieftain / Berserker.

In terms of damage, have to wait for PoB to be updated with the new gem to be able to get a better view.

With end game gears, the build will be able to clear all end game bosses. For delve, I don't do deep delving but 300 should be fine. 500 probably will be challenging unless you invest in survivability.

Warbringer numbers have been re-adjusted (see patch notes). It now consume 10 rages instead of 25.

You will be able to regain that 10 rages in no time.

doesnt conc path convert 50% and the ascendancy flame advance the other 50?

For Chieftain, you do not need Magmatic.

But if you are going Berserker and Jugg, you will need that.
Is the Cyclone version still worth running, or should i be looking at the Conc/Tectonic only for this season ?.

If I stay with the Usual Cyclone version, which POB spec should i look at B/J/C, EO or RT and should i still be looking at getting a Warcry ?.

Sorry for the Newb questions. But I am still very much one when it comes to builds and knowing what's good for a season.

Why elemental overload and why not crit
I apologize if you've already talked about this, but will there be an updated guide with the new melee support gems and warcrys ?
