[3.3] Death Star - Barrage / KB Miner
" It's the general consistency and effectiveness of flasks that is the selling point for Pathfinder, not just burst. That said, you certainly could do Deadeye. Or Sabo, or a few different flavors of Ascendant. If people are trying these things out, I'm sure others (myself included) would be keen to hear how they do. " yea after posting I was thinking about Ascendant Deadeye/Sabo because actually Ascendant Deadeye is not that much worse than Deadeye itself, with the exception of Tailwind. But the Sabo sustain is pretty awesome. Anyway, if I decide to test I'll make sure to share my experiences here. Thanks for the build and guide! ign: PhrozenFlame

Major: Brine King for chain stun protection.
Minor: These are situational. I mostly use Ryslatha or upgraded Shakari. |

Hi, I'm looking to run KB mines on an extremely limited budget. (Starting the Flashback event with it and going to be push levels hard.) I believe Deadeye will get me further, but how should I go about the gearing process in this "Day 0" economy? Should I rush Tabula + Piscators then run maps until Lycosidae + Shaped Helm? I'll have a bosser in my group as well so boss drops should be rolling in by day 4-5 easily which will cover Dying Sun.
So TL;DR - What should I do from leveling to maps in essentially a league starting situation? I considered Sabo for GC Mines into KB mines, but Deadeye might be able to pull it off? Thanks, Deshy |

Deadeye for sure. It solves too many early-game / fresh league hurdles for there to be any other choice. It also leaves you open to respec Pathfinder as your gear fills out.
" Yup. Live in Aqueduct till your Tabula is done, or trade Humility cards up into Emperor of Purity cards. Run a search for flat ele wands—any decently high flat ele wand w/ crit will rival a Piscators, and we don't care at all about attack speed. Last edited by kechari#5629 on Apr 26, 2018, 4:12:02 PM

How would you approach leveling in this case then? Leveling for a Sabo would be just picking up firetrap + freezing pulse til 12. Then using Fire Nova mines until 28. Then GC mines until the swap. Should I attempt to go the same route or would you recommend some other way? I'm for sure the Deadeye would solve the Lycosidae problem. I expect that shield to be insanely expensive due to time limited-ness.

Personally I'll likely do bows, picking up things like Deadly Draw and Lethality and then moving those points into mine passives once I'm ready to transition into wands.
Plain old vanilla wander is a possibility, too. Single target can be terrible, but you really don't need much in the way of gear to run up and down Aqueduct. |

So for flashback league, it has been decided that there won't be any ascendancy swapping. Since I'm racing for a Regular Demigods do you think pathfinder would be sustainable early? Everyone will be rolling Deadeye because of it's benefits so I believe it would be in my best interest to play PF/sabo in the race. I'm still leaning sabo using your tree since I can easily make a few changes and even give you the results if you want.

My thought would be this: if the primary objective is to push hard into late game, then it only makes sense to pick the ascendancy with the highest ceiling. And that's Pathfinder, no doubt.
The POB pastebin as given is optimized for end-game bossing, so you'll want to shuffle points around for more resilience during mapping (i.e. health nodes by Ranger, Acro / Phase acro, etc.) |
