Hey, you need to put:
1. spell totem support gem
2. increased burning damage
3. efficacy or elemental focus

into your Bale Fire and use that. Also your spell totem level is really low (level 15) you need to buy or level it up to 20 so the totem can have more life.

yeah don't use kaom's heart, just use a 6l, I updated the POB. Check my first post :)

How are you sustaining rf without using vitality? im using vitality and purity of fire and still cannot sustain it unless i have my 3 totems out unless thats the entire point? https://pastebin.com/Y30YBEAp

I can somewhat sustain it but I have lvl 23 purity of fire. That's the whole point of the build. It turns your regen into DAMAGE when you turn on purity of fire.

You need to have a Dousing Flask to turn off righteous fire when you need to. And only use it during combat or if you're taking heavy damage. If you look at my uber elder video, you would see that I turn it off regulary or when I dont have anymore ruby flasks and turn it on when I am safe to increase the damage.

Is this build a good league starter? I see you updated the gear and pastbin for 3.5 Some of those items would be hard to come by in a fresh league? I would like to try this build out in 3.5 but concerned if will hit a wall and can't afford gear needed to make it work in fresh league.

I started every league with it in Hardcore! And will start this one in HC too. Its very cheap, you need balefire till you can afford good gear

Could be good for clear, but for bossing it's acutally less damage. Swap out for clear maybe
