So what happened to it being "impossible" to make trees and buildings transparent when you are behind them? GGG said frequently the engine couldn't do this? Guess that was a lie?

" It's not making them transparent.. It's pretty much putting an overlay of your character and the ground around them OVER the trees. That's alot less graphics intensive/engine intrusive, yet looks a lot uglier as you can see. i.e. Go into a paint program, draw a tree, draw a stick figure, use the select tool to move the stick figure onto the tree. It'll put a big white box over your tree. That's what's going on. IGN: NoahsArChen

" Agreed. I really hope as part of their graphics improvement they are going to look into the character models. All the new enemies and bosses look great, fresh and up to date and living in 2018 yet the character models are living in 2008. |
