Preview of Experimental Graphics Improvements

AAAAAGH, Whats wrong with you GGG? Why you cant just make your game stable, a lot of people getting crashs etc. But of course you wont giving a f*ck about that. Im so upset about you GGG.
Wow, that water.

Totally Awesome
Hopefully any future mods will be light on hardware. Just the other day I bit the bullet and went back to DX9 with all options either off or at minimum (potato-vision) trying to get a decent frame-rate. My previously reasonable rig has turned into a slide-show since the last patch.

Hmm not digging transparency,seems off...

And I never thought this as a real issue,trees are so sparce in general.
You rarely behind trees to get bothered and if you do,the current stamp tree reduce seems better than this solution.

Don't know,we can wait and see I guess
Bye bye desync!
i like it!
Put it in now!
Quite cool! :}
Not a fan of the transparent trees effect, but I do acknowledge that they make it harder to see enemies at times. Still, that's part of the game's charm.

For future preview vids, I recommend the before-and-after format, so we can truly appreciate the work you've done.
Wash your hands, Exile!
The rain and water ripples (from raindrops) look awesome!

And the "terrain dissolve" to keep sight of the player character would be a Godsend - quite a few times I've had terrain obscure me in a tricky situation!
caustic/refractive water lighting and better water surfaces? Neat.
