The Abyss Supporter Packs Ending Soon!

I would never pay for ingame mtx.

Those 2 packs have been one of the best ones from all the league packs so far, for me that's 100% sure :)
Badass, superb details, good mtx included in each one of them and for that price. absolutely ♥ ♥ ♥
I had really hard time to decide which one to pick, The cloak of the Lich pack is sick as hell, but I have to withstand the temptation to get both! :D

Hoping for the $30 pack, or customize-able $60 packs.

For example, I e-mailed support about trading out the portal effect (as I have too many I like as is) for the cloak or WE. was a no-go, but I'm assuming other people would also enjoy a similar value item being swapped in their packs as well if they already own a portal or back attachment they like.

Also Side note, we really need to be able to sport 2 footprint effects, 1 for each foot ( up sales, makes people happy, serves a purpose for having so many. Same for the 6 portals in your map device.

Got my Lich set.
At first looks the ImpPack may look better till you notice the un-immersive bleached crotch area or the glitchy looking portals.

But even with some downsides both sets look way better than the Harbinger Armour Set.

Can't complain? Oh no. Never that. Complaints inspire change, progress - improvement. They're very much necessary, and very much the most valuable feedback that one can give. Like, you called them greedy - but as I pointed out in my previous post, it's not as if they're charging twice as much for the same thing. Nobody was getting two armour sets, a cloak, a portal, and so on for $60 previously. I'm not dismissing your feedback - I'm just saying I don't understand it.

If GGG released 10 $60 supporter packs for each challenge league, I wouldn't spend any more money than I already do - but I would have considerably more choice, and I'd appreciate that. I'm not saying that I think ten is the perfect number - it's unquestionably too much and would suggest some questionable priorities at the office - but I do like having some choice.

I want companies to feel that listening to customer feedback is both a necessity for them, but also beneficial. I want what we say to matter. People told GGG the War for the Atlas packs were bad. They reacted to that feedback by trying to offer us more choice through challenge league supporter packs. People responded to them acting on feedback by attacking them.

They can't just remove the War for the Atlas packs, because there are people buying them, others who haven't done so yet but plan to - and it would be unfair on them. I feel like GGG made a deliberate decision to do something different in an attempt to act on feedback, and I think all of the angry posts about it will just discourage them from doing so again in the future. This concerns me. Consumers shouldn't punish a company for trying to be pro-consumer.


tl;dr: Company did more work to give consumers more choice. Consumers complained. ???

Just make sure that understanding does not equate to disagreeing, because the two are quite different.

ALL league supporter packs in the past, including Harbinger, Legacy, Breach, and Prophecy, all had $60 to get everything they offered for those leagues. Now they broke that with Abyss. It's $120 to get everything MTX for that league.

And it broke from major release supporter packs too, in that each consecutively more expensive pack gave you everything from the cheaper packs. Not with Abyss.

That's why I was disappointed in GGG, and why I wouldn't buy an Abyss supporter pack. I could care less about the MTXes (I have so many, it doesn't matter any more). It's the principle of how they tried to sell the Abyss packs that left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Good, I actually hope they DO! I prefer the tradition they created with the supporter packs of the past. And my biggest way to criticize them was NOT to buy an Abyss pack. I pretty much bought a support pack for every release/league since I've joined. Until Abyss.

I was very happy to have a choice.
Honestly, if the purple one had be the only one avaible I would have taken none this time. Not beeing into shrieking orange and yellow it is unsatisfactory enough, that the highest packs usually contain MTX I don´t really like.

As a general rule I would prefer more modest but classy stuff instead of Skull-Las-Vegas-Disco-Monster-See-Where-My-Money-Went-Stab-Your-Eyes-MTX. But well - I guess this depends on personal taste and maybe the age.

You should try Abyssal Lich armor set with tentacle wings and legion weapon effect. Personally my favorite combo :)

Some cool MTX combinations here! I think you should consider doing this at the beginning of the supporter packs, I would imagine that would drive a lot more sales to other MTX then rather than now.
