I remember when people where like "pffs raider absolute shit ascendancy"
And me going like "eh, ok ill just be the speedy immune to all ailments boosting all damage types raider then" Granted, you didn't have frenzy on rare/unique hits then. It's sort of sad that dead-eye has nothing going for it though compared to raider/pathfinder. Haven't touched that ascendancy since it came out, raider is always superior. " Heh, I like how you slip that frenzy change in there as a trivial detail. No one ever needed Raider to maintain frenzy charges on kills, Bloodrage was always great for that. Without the frenzy charges, all the major raider features completely break down, which means without the Rare/Unique hits, the ascendancy just stopped functioning without tons of steady kills, which made it way more underwhelming/inconsistant. But yeah, Deadeye is just sad. 'Fast and Deadly' always really bothered me, its nothing but a few non-spectacular 'increase' mods, which is just not going to cut it when every other ascendancy is all about 'more' mods or unique mods that can't be compared to normal passives or gear modifiers. It's the same problem that has hamstrung most of the Scion Ascendancies. There may be a design philosophy for putting ascendancies on that level of power, but it doesn't work when all the other ascendancies are working at a higher plane. |

^Yeah because there wasn't any way in the game to maintain frenzy charges on single targets prior to that change hmmmpfffs.

" People are lazy and going from not needing to manually use frenzy on a boss once every 14-18 seconds(when bosses generally take less than 20 seconds to kill for most builds) meant the difference between a worthless trash tier asc to one of the best 4. We have a game where peoples' idea of fun is holding down right click on their poet's pen with bodyswap and being able to close their eyes with a build that plays for them. From what I've seen, the more actions per minute a build requires, the less attractive it is for the casual player. This means flask centric builds, multi skill builds (ED contagen) tend to be like anthrax to them. I am more amazed at the fact that you need 3 "move only" key.

To be fair, you can kill 90% of normal map bosses before your frenzies from map clear drops... So its really important just on things like shaper/guardiants etc
Its interesting that everyone loves the ailment imunity so much, I personaly think that 25% more evade chance with oslaught is much much stronger (but sure, its not for everyone, which ailment imunity is) All you need is 60K evasion, and with that 25% more evade chance, this caps you at 95% evade chances( sure, vs average accuracy). Throw in some dodge and block and you are siting on 98-99% melee avoidance. Last edited by Nathaniell123#6942 on Jan 25, 2018, 11:05:06 AM

immunity to shock/freeze/ignite is like my favourite node in the game, playing on HC in the early days if i lost a character i'd say a good half were to shock or freeze its just so much safer without dealing with them.
