Price fixing is in almost every game that has a market place. My guild use to buy out entire markets in WOW and fix prices on a game as massive as that. GW2 I would buy out all currency and push the entire market up. Basic market play... though things normalize in time usually.

Though the player base with premium stash tabs on xbox in small and drop rates aren't high enough to stop it. You want to see something funny. Go to Std League and check out the Market there... it doesn't even exist.

I cannot see how GGG can fix this.

If you cannot beat them join them. As for new players... end game is just going to be very hard to obtain. If you want easy... go play PC.

well that someone buys all items and sells them for a fix and high price, yeah, thats normal and I think noone has a problem with, but having the items on the market under this price and just never accepting it and cause currency to be stuck and totally limiting peoples ability to trade, as they can only have 5 concurrent items in their offers list, this is not necessary. If they say 35c and I bid 35c and I am the first, I should get the item. if he wants 2ex, then he should write it. This waiting for accepting, is really really bad, especially, that the seller has to go to town for it, so in some cases, cannot respond for 10+ minutes, and then the offer is already gone. It just adds a lot of toxicity to the whole trade system. Its just another extreme timesink with plenty of bad annoying side effects. I hope at one point, they will finally understand this. So far this topic never even got an official response. Noone knows, if its even be considered.

Premium tab players will grow with time, stash tab pricing will also make the market more accessible, buiing items with buyout, if sellers are offline would also increase the offers that are interesting, at the moment you are searching.

Standard league will also grow over time, as soon some players don't feel the wish to start over again in a new league. As you said endgame atm is not as easy as on PC in any way, yeah so people who want to experience it, might wanna stick sooner or later with their league chars after the end, to finally see it.

If you cannot beat them, join them... yeah if everybody cheats, cheat as well... not really a desirable outcome for anyone. Usually you report players for exploiting game mechanics, which I would say this is it in this case.

If you want it easy, play pc... They ported this game to console for a reason and this is business. They want to reach new players. They need masses of them, if 80% of them would join pc, this market would be worse and the game would just die out on xbox, except some ssf hardcore players, that probably won't spend enough money on it, to pay the servers.

If you like this game, then you should be happy about every complain people post here, as they do it to make this game better and a richer experience for everyone. Maybe not every solution offered here, is pointing into the same direction, but your, hey if others are asshole, be one yourself, or if you don't like it, go play something else, is contra productive. If noone complains and expresses their frustration here, how should they ever notive what exactly is wrong?
Looks like when putting in multiple text filters they are separated by a space instead of , or ;. Will either option work or is this how it was coded?

Also appears you don't need to spell out words when searching? Your picture example uses res instead of resistance(s).

I would say, a space is equivalent of an AND and you don't need to spell whole words, as res is included in resistance but would also highlight respirator or anything else including res.
Also when searching for life for example, will items that have Minion life be included or excluded? I assume the former would be true, but some clarification would be nice.

Put anything there ....

They're Xbox players ...

They accept any crap. This filter is the worst and most nutty solution to shut the mouth of those who complained. Terrible

Some will say ... Better than nothing .. Maybe .. But we'll still be hours looking for specific items for lack of a decent filter and we probably will not find
Play on X1X

Hey Jeff, would it be possible to add the price/note to the highlighting? Would be great to check for example chaos orbs, being sold for fusings or exalted etc. Also would be a good way to check for items, that actually have a price set.

It actually works with price, so it highlights only items with an exact price, but you cannot filter for the currency.

I also noticed, that items with Asking price and not exact price, are not filtered by price:

Filtering for "jew" actually worked:

Hmm weird, as you can see on the first screenshot, searching for exalted, doesn't yield any result, but exa does.

I think it is actually parsing the internal note, like ~b/o 1 exa instead of the localized tooltip. That might cause some issues with other languages. I would check this out.

Thats it for now, hope this helps.

Ahhh, to find all items that have a price set, search for ~, enjoy:

Thanks Jeff and GGG its not perfect but its a great start on the filter it makes it way way way more simple to find things :) People that complain probbaly should try to use it properly before the slam it.Good job much better than before saves me so much time..
I was finally able to find the jewels i needed for my RF build, it was sooooo helpful thank you guys! I think i played with the trade filter for about 45 mins right after the server came back up, so nice to be able to find what i need. I noticed the my offers pick up by like 75% too on most of my jewels or items with multiple stats, win win all the way around.
After some time to reflect, I must say that I am impressed with the new highlight mechanism. Not because it's necessarily a final solution, but because it greatly improves the trade experience for rares like jewels while staying within the boundaries imposed from above ("they must search many screens to find joy" comes to mind). We still have many screens to search, but we can do it so much faster now - clever solution. It's early days and I imagine that there are still some pleasant surprises and some disappointments yet to be uncovered, but GGG has given us something that can work - thanks. But I fear (hope) that the clever mind(s) behind this improvement will have little time to rest on their laurels. I presume that success means that more items will be listed both because rares now have more value and because more people will be encouraged to play and trade. But if I have to search 500 screens to find something, I expect that I will once again begin to grumble. Another clever solution to pare down the number of search tabs (and not by excluding desired items) will likely be called for. No good deed goes unpunished.
