Carry on backpack expansion

Titan Quest and Grim Dawn both have extra inventory unlocked along the way. The idea isn't that bad, but I have a feeling PoE will stay the way it is. In endgame most loot is crap anyway, so it's actually rare to not have enough space too loot a map with 6 portals available.
One thing I'd likely not buy. Seems really annoying. There was a stage in my play that I would have leapt at the chance, but now I'm not even sure it would be a bonus. The people who need it pick up stuff to vendor... and all this would do would make them do more of it. I'm trying my best to wean myself of that habit.

I'm with you on this one, for a really bizarre reason. I still use the chaos recipe to get going, but last league I used it for pretty much the entirety of the league, and while grinding maps quicker to find money items and grinding maps more slowly to pick up rare items to vendor are both grinding at its most grindy... the former feels less grindy to me for some reason. So now I just use the chaos recipe to get started and move on to not doing that after I've got a solid currency base.

So this is one of those mtx that, if brought to our servers, I would largely ignore.

I'd actually probably modify it to only hold currency for me, and when currency started showing up in my "real" inventory I'd take out the full stack and replace it with a single one. Saves a few clicks and maybe a trip back to the stash in the rare case you need some special currency in your instance. Could do it myself by strategically positioning seed currency so that no other items would be stored there.
*gasm*

I would totally buy this.

I mean, eventually you reach the point where the current carry storage is sufficient and you barely pick up a full inventory running a whole map, but I still think I would find this useful.

More space is good space.

Take my money.

You all sound like a bunch of bored, cynical old men (which I actually am, by the way). A whole bunch of meh! Get excited about something for once in your miserable lives. It's like -20 Celsius here and snowing like crazy, I need something to perk me up!

That's not a bad idea, especially since I often end up repositioning currency in my inventory to make room for larger and less flexible items.

"Why is everyone upset that GGG started selling level requirement 1 Kaom's Heart and Acuities in the store? Get excited for once."

Sorry but I'm not going to approve of P2W, even if backpack space isn't as big of a deal as selling actual items, it still objectively increases your in game wealth and power.

Stash tabs are comparatively not P2W because there are free tools like acquisition that allow you to list items for sale without needing a premium tab, there isn't any way to take more than 6 portals of loot out of a map.

The line gets pretty thin here. Is there a big difference between paying for extra inventory space and paying for extra stash tabs? According to some, the latter are P2W, too... But on the other hand, I imagine it would be pretty difficult for GGG to make ends meet just by selling cosmetic MTX. And I'd rather have these "semi-P2W" elements in PoE than have to pay a subscription fee, or purchase premium time, or deal with any similar bullshit.

The question whether something is pay2win is not decided upon whether GGG could survive without it. That has nothing to do with it at all. The question is whether it is pay2win.

Extra inventory space for real-life money is definitely pay2win in my book, extra stash tabs are pay2win in my book as well (now more than ever, lots of things got introduced recently that eat stash space, so many that I suppose some of them were specifically added in order to eat stash space and make people buy stash tabs).
Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

And we're back to bickering about stash tabs. Wonderful. Pretty soon someone will suggest changing the default from 4 to 12 or something.

I'll just do a brief translation for those of you interested, and also to stop second guessing on the nature of the pack.

-Newly added bag expansion function, now you may purchase additional slots/space (please open "shop" within the game to indicate points spent/remaining)

-Press [I] button in-game to open interface

-Total of 6 columns of maximum expansion, first column is free, second column costs 1 point/column, third column costs 1000 points/column, fourth column costs 2000 points/column, fifth column costs 3000 points/column, sixth column costs 4000 points/column *i have no idea what is the exact cash to points system in China.

-After purchasing, you may only use them within the same league/zone (permanent/special permanent/race league), not for cross league *direct translation, not sure what it means exactly
