If you go for slayer instead of raider, will the lifeleech from slayer be changed into es leech? As the 40% extra dps vs bosses and rare mobs is nice for lategame

edit: Seems like it does not work with es, so rip that idea!

Believe me if it did, Scion ES builds would be OP as hell :d

Edit: added first Shaper run on this character, pretty decent and quite fast considering all the mini bosses with phases.

how about "phy damage converted to lightning damge while affected by wrath" in watcher's eye?
or just need "es gain from hit while affected by discipline"

ES gain per hit is amazing for mapping sustain and does help (slightly) versus bosses, but it's entirely optional. "Phys damage converted" or "Extra damage as lightning" on Watcher's Eye don't really benefit this build since we do barely any physical damage. Penetration would be great, but those are expensive.

I've had a lucky drop from a T16 Lich today (2 Abyss socket Shroud) and I'm thinking of either upgrading my helmet/chest or buying Clarity Watcher's Eye, which is the best you can get.
Getting one with Wrath Penetration or Discipline Regeneration would be an ultimate jewel for this build :)

Is Hierophant rly that good of a choice for a second ascendency? Would you go sth else wihile having decent ES pool without it?

It is a very, very solid choice. Additional ES that this ascendancy provides lets you take more damage nodes/jewel sockets instead of ES nodes. This is huge if you consider that each offensive cluster or part of the tree can easily provide 2% more dps per point and some additional bonuses like ES or resistances. On average, ES from Hierophant is worth anywhere between 8-11 of the juicy ES nodes located by the Witch start, so it is around 16-22% More damage that you can get on the tree for free.

Let me put this into perspective. For example, today, I bought my Clarity Watcher's Eye.
- without it, this ascendancy added 1179 total ES to my pool, bringing it to 8288.
- with Clarity Watcher's, it adds a total of 1324 ES, bringing it to 10145.

If I change Hierophant to Berserker (highest dps increasing ascendancy option left), and select being Savage hit recently etc in Path of Building, dps goes up to 496k but ES is only 8999, and that is with Clarity jewel. To get similar amount of ES, I'd have to drop around ~10 points worth of dps nodes and put them into ES nodes by Witch start, which would then put me at 9972 ES and 409k dps according to PoB, which is less then what we would get from Hierophant. I would also lose the possibility of using 2 totems (they deal decent damage in a 4L on their own), and possibility of getting Power charges - while useless for Elemental Overload, they increase the chance of EO triggering early, which in theory means you don't lose as much dps before EO activating.


All in all, bonus from Hiero is almost like running another Discipline aura for free, with additional benefit of +1 totems.

Enough for the Guardians, haven't tried to outleech Shaper's beam since I started to make currency selling sets, I always get gloves but Shaper set can sell for 1ex :D I'll add a new video once I get more maps, shouldn't be long.

As a side note, I'm pretty sure Shaper's beam can still be outleeched without ES gained on hit Watchers, IF the ES pool is high enough. I wouldn't try it on 8k ES without Watcher's ES gained on hit.

Edit: Chimera and Shaper re-run added. Still processing so quality might not be the best, and my fps is always low, so please keep that in mind. My vids get lots of downvotes due to this already :D

Oh ty, gonna try this one after i get my Discharger to like 92-93 and respec then.

Do u have enough stats for eq without amulet? I wonder if there is any room for Bisco while maping.

Without the amulet, my ES drops from 10.1k to 9k, tooltip dps from 65k GMP to 50k, but I started mapping reds and Guardians with less dps and ES, so I guess it's doable :)

For my character, lowest stat without amulet is still over 300, so all equip can be worn.
