Rigwald's Curse does not work with Claw Specific damage from Abyss jewels
" Almost 40 days since my first post. While I understand that this may not be a high priority fix especially with Rigwald's Curse being niche and 3.2 on the way, I would at least like confirmation that it's a bug with an intended fix or there is a very specific interpretation of "increased damage with claws" that "damage with claw attacks" does not cover. Especially with Abyss content being added to the main game, I would love an answer to this. I lean more towards believing it's a bug based on how easily overlooked the combination of abyss jewel mods and Rigwald's curse could have been but I can see the other side of the argument as well. CharanJaydemyr:some people need to really rethink how they spend their money....I will trash this item if I ever find it on principle...I've seen much cleverer "troll" items get turned down, so I guess GGG gave up trying to enforce that one. Not GGG's finest hour.

Added Damage is considered distinct from damage modifiers - it is damage, not a modifier to damage.
Base Damage and Added Damage are two distinct categories of damage, (provided with a minimum and maximum value) which modifiers apply to (modifiers have a single value). The systems involved in this are noted for being reviewed and potentially reworked in the future due to some bugs in other cases, but this specific interaction is working as intended currently. | |
